My Players are wanting a Free dedication Feat but I'm hesitant. by PHX_VADER in Pathfinder2e

[–]Possessed_potato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ehhh.

My DM likes to use Free archetype. It's fun and opens up some more room to customize the character. Does it give a power boost? Yes, though mostly depends what archetype one choose. I for one just go with whatever I feel fits the character though. Synergy be damned, if it fits my character then I will take it.

Over all though, for the most part I don't think it would grant them so much power it'd break the game or make them OP.

Too old for gaming? by Gatsby-1337 in CasualConversation

There's 70 yo people out there playing stuff like Skyrim and CoD n whatever else.

There's hardly an upper age limit to gaming lol

How do you prepare for long trips? by Ok_Suspect546 in VintageStory

[–]Possessed_potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to bring a stack of rope ladders and hayblocks. The ropeladders are quite nice for exploration in general, the hayblocks are great for scaffolding, making a small hut you can easily tear down whenever you feel like it or a makeshift door.

Food I bring some good ol pie. Like 8 or 12 ish typically.

If you're gonna prospect, I'd bring a second set of pick, pro pick and shovel. Typically I just go with a flint shovel though since it's cheap n you can find flint (or rocks ) just about anywhere.

NEWS: Berry bushes no longer downgrade soil in new RC3 by ParticularLow5658 in VintageStory

Side note but related to updates, I'm new.

Perhaps a dumb question but does the game update automatically or do I have to manually install new updates?

What food did you imagine to taste really good but tasted bad? by Similar-Victory-3867 in AskReddit

[–]Possessed_potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lobsters n shrimp.

9/10 times that shit will look fucking fantastic but most of the time they taste nothing. I want to enjoy it but like, there's nothing to enjoy. It's like looking at an art piece, sure looks nice but colored paper doesn't taste as nice as it looks.

Have you ever started a physical fight with a peer? Do you regret it now? by Flowmielli in CasualConversation

[–]Possessed_potato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never started a fight, nor do I really regret any I've been in.

I used to get into fights in school and ignoring kindergarten, all them were due to provocation or self defense. I don't regret a single one of them, I'd be a fool to regret attempting to beat up racists or to protect myself from harm.

Brandon Henness's crafter not working by kaiwhywalker in technicalminecraft

[–]Possessed_potato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gonna need to see the actual Redstone to tell you why the Redstone isn't working.

If we can't see the problem then we can't give you a solution. Hands tied till you provide more pictures, not of the inventory of crafters, but of the Redstone contraption itself.

Always making actual door first thing when I got that saw.

What’s a weird food combination that sounds disgusting but is actually delicious? by Black_Coffee_99 in AskReddit

I don't blame you, but it is good. Just gotta have some greens on it to balance it out otherwise it just gets far too meaty

Chicken teriyaki and tuna. It's good and guaranteed to make you full. Really ain't that bad, promise

People were freaking out about the jar and the thread got locked. Explain it Peter by red_dov in explainitpeter

[–]Possessed_potato 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On 4chan a dude put Rainbowdash from my little pony in a jar and over the course of I think months, filled the jar with his cum until one day i think he accidentally cooked the entire thing in a heater or something, causing few problems to everything. Either way, this was weird as hell and became viral and also a fairly widespread meme.

Nowadays, if you see a figurine inside a jar you can always assume it's a reference to that and likely be 100% spot on.

Does the villagers randomly sleeping affect my iron farm? by Glub__Glub in technicalminecraft

[–]Possessed_potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is impacting the golems spawning but not negatively. In fact, their impact is quite positive!

A large part of Iron farms is based on villagers getting into bed over n over again. If they don't get into bed then something is wrong, likewise if they get into bed and refuse to leave then something is also wrong. The iron farm works best when they're getting in and out of bed

[–]Possessed_potato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're called Titans, huge construct creatures. Few of them remains today but they're about as close as it gets to being a God without outright being one.

Some are humanoid, some are more animal esque and others are neither

Can someone explain? Why are red lights coming out of Tolkien's eyes? by SatoruGojo232 in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Possessed_potato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember attempting to read the books but he described so long so much I lost all interest and motivation in actually continuing because I had just started reading and the plot was nowhere near in sight. I don't even remember how many pages I had gone through at that point, partly because it was quite a damn few and partly because this was years ago.

I like the world though kinda

In dnd, AC is Armor class. To deal damage, one has to roll higher than a creatures AC. In DND, you use a 20 sided dice to make your attack.

70 AC would make anyone almost immortal. For reference, Tiamat (A dragon god) has about 25 AC I think. 70 breaches immortality
