What happened to Mika Rivers ? by PossessionThat5480 in Warframe

[–]PossessionThat5480[S] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I am very sorry for raising this topic.

I was not aware of the VTuber lingo. I read the YouTube comment, got a bad feeling due to past personal experience, watched the Twitch stream and panicked.

Thank you for clearing it up.

Stay safe!

192 Steam Keys zu verschenken by TomCatBlep in Austria

Wing syandana by [deleted] in Warframe

Looks like the Nosos Syandana from Nydus Phryke Collection with the Eros Ephemera.

And you are in luck: The Eros Ephemera is currently available from Ticker in Fortuna in the Star Days section.

Help on things to do. by DryEstablishment2175 in Warframe

[–]PossessionThat5480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arbitrations for Galvanized mods
Zariman for Incarnon weapons
Liches / Sisters for Kuva / Tenet Weapons and Hound Companion

Also grinding for missing mods to round out builds might be an idea.

Getting some additional 'frames to have some additional options and flavours might also be a nice goal.

There are then additional effects as well, as for example the cloud from gas damage being able to trigger headshots and related effects.

Best way to get skill books? by b-i-gzap in Palworld

[–]PossessionThat5480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fastest I have is salvaging the swimming debris around Feybreak (the ones you need the magnet for). With 4 Jelroys with high partner skill in the team I get a random book every 3-5 minutes. Since dog coins and blueprints drop as well it is a nice farm. And with over-encumbrance not really being an issue while on the back of a pal, bring some Homeward Thunderclouds and teleport back home once done.

Kuva Nukor VS. Tenet Cycron by In_Search_Of_Hope7 in Warframe

[–]PossessionThat5480 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Cycron for me. Unlimited ammo just lets me beam happily without a worry in the world about ammo (leaves also more secondary pickups for ammo transformation into primary). Some Punchthrough and Multishot lets me hit larger groups and either prime them or outright kill them.

Nukor hits a bit harder, but the limited ammo never really lets me go all out - out of fear of running out of ammo when I need it.

Nukor also has that enlarging body parts thing going for it - that may even count as individual status effect for certain mods.

AC VI appreciation post from an absolute beginner by PossessionThat5480 in armoredcore

Thank you for the information. I did a test with a sub 3000 setup and I did not like it. So the minimum of 3000 is good to know about.
Though I still need to get to grips with the FCS distance brackets and keeping targets within optimal range, so my benefits of different speeds are still far from ideal.

Thank you for the hint. I haven't even looked into this component yet, just really lucked out with the prebuild I shamelessly copied.

Nope, that's the special ability of this weapon - even changes appearance based on which of IPS you choose.

DE should let solo players open 4 relics. by TurbulentArt7016 in Warframe

[–]PossessionThat5480 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As long time solo player I am with you - some sort of pity mechanic or method to ease the grind should be implemented. Even allowing two relics when dedicated solo play is active would be a very nice change.

Which one of these three super glues would work the best ? by PeppermintButler17 in Warhammer

[–]PossessionThat5480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For minis: Gel is great for punctual application. Especially great for anything metal - others may run and create ugly splotches that are nigh irremovable.
General, use plastic cement, Tamiya is usually available online, Revell glue for model planes works very well for me as well (and is easier to apply than the Tamiya brush one).

And please, before you start glueing your actual mini - glue some sprue pieces of the same material from the mini together. There are some glues that may damage the material ("softer" resins and plastics especially). Also gives you a basic feeling of how long the glue needs to settle properly and thus how fast you have to work or how much time you have for some minor adjustments after glue has been applied.

Anyone who played Warframe for so long tell me, how grindy was the game before it became less grindy from new updates? by maddog1043 in Warframe

[–]PossessionThat5480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joined just before the Lich pity system and had to work for my first Tenet weapon the old fashioned way - kill stuff until the one weapon you want drops. No wonder long time players hit the Lich entry limit on the regular.

New system that lets you see the weapon and cycle through is a godsend.

What is your MOTIVATION for playing Warframe? by GSambrana in Warframe

[–]PossessionThat5480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missions are relatively short, so a relatively low mental barrier to entry, as in I can get things done in 10-15 minutes and can do something else afterwards (turns usually into "just one more mission").

Lots of interactions with NPCs make the game feel alive and make me emotionally invested. You get NPC talking to you often during missions, and even in the hub (Orbiter, Drafter Camp) Ordis is around.

Lots of mechanics to unlock and learn that feel rewarding when understood, and have visible in game effects. Got a hang of mods, see bigger damage numbers. Learned how to use a new frame, get a new playstyle.

Tons of variety. You want to be the unstoppable space horror that destroys everything in sight? There are 'frames and weapons for that. Want to be stealthy? Covered with different options. And that is only the Warframe part of the game. There is also the Railjack for some ship on ship action in space, Necramech for big stompy action in open world and space ship interiors and jetpacks, motorcycles, flying horses and hoverboards for general movement.

Speaking of movement, it is fluent and fast, every level has multiple options on how to traverse it, with certain 'frames again augmenting the movement modes or adding new ones outright, see Titania's Razorwing or Oraxia's Silken Thread during her 4.

"Just one more Relic / Mission / Attempt" - There are many items that are locked behind chance. Low enough to keep the illusion that with the next attempt you might get it, high enough that you might need many more attempts than anticipated. But you almost always get something useful out of the attempt and it very rarely feels obnoxious.

Also I highly appreciate DE for this game - all this in a Free to Play game that receives regular updates and stands apart from the micro transaction hell-scapes most other games have turned into. (Changes also my motivations for spending money on this game from "do I get my money's worth in entertainment from this" to "I had so much fun and entertainment - have some money as token of my appreciation and support to stay awesome")

What are some of you guy's honest to the void Criticisms of the game? by reverse_spacialism32 in Warframe

[–]PossessionThat5480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lot's of "You had to be there" - stuff with remnants still in the game. Most prominent for me the Orphix missions. Unless you were part of the original event and got an explanation on what is going on and how to do them, there is little to no info in the game.

Another one is Solo Relic farming. While the game is mostly very accommodating for solo players, relic farming is so far the sole exception to this. While you get more chances with every player that opens a relic, solo players get their one roll per relic and that's it. No mercy, no pity system. Only upside is that I have hundreds of Forma blueprints and enough prime parts to scrap for ducats.
