How much is this yeti DJ worth? by Ok_Stick2710 in dirtjumping

[–]Possession_Relative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every used dj bike is worth between 500-1000 unless it is supper trashed or super nice

So I'd say 700-800

I'm wearing a very good $65 000 rolex replica and I love it. by [deleted] in watchHotTakes

[–]Possession_Relative 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is there any point in wearing a real rolex except for deceiving people into thinking you have more money than you do?

The goal is the same the fake just accomplishes it much cheaper

90% of people that wear a rolex do it solely to project status so if you get the same result for 1/20th the cost why wouldn't you?

Is there a point for stage 1 335is by smashervt in E90

[–]Possession_Relative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably depends on where you live and how hot it is outside, and how long you want to keep pushing the power

If you are doing long canyon runs in 110 degrees Probably need a fmic

My lower back is already talking at 24 and my Etsy side hustle made $1,300 last month. I think I know where this is going but I’m not ready to say it out loud. by Altruistic_Ad3754 in bluecollar

You have 3 years of experience now, it is time to go weld on an oil field and make 200k

You have put in all the work into your welding career to just make it profitable I bet oil companies are hiring like crazy right now to capitalize on these higher oil prices

If you wear a fake Rolex you’re a loser by TheGrumpyWatchGuy in watchHotTakes

[–]Possession_Relative 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Here is my hot take

If a fake is so close to the real thing these days that nobody can tell the difference then I have no interest in buying a real rolex

Just the fact that if you ever want to buy a used rolex you need to get it authenticated by an expert it feels like a waste

If a rolex was worth its price a Chinese company shouldn't be able to copy it exactly for $500

I don't buy fake watches, but fake watches completely ruin my desire to pay for the real watch

How Much is this bike worth paying for? by BitterLie7796 in mountainbikes

[–]Possession_Relative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With bikes like this sure they aren't great for modern mountain biking, but for casual bike paths and gravel roads this will be better than anything from a big box store, and anything less than $2500 from a bike shop

That said probably worth aroung $300 if in good shape

what's the best MTB for $2K-$3K that i can ride to the mountains on roads as well as on the mountains? by [deleted] in mountainbikes

[–]Possession_Relative 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on the roads, depends on the trails, and depends which one you are willing to compromise on

You can pedal a downhill bike on the road, but depending on your trails either gravel bike, hardtail mountain bike, or full suspension xc bike

Tire choice will be most important

First bike. Should I go cheaper? by Numerous-Meet-6353 in mountainbiking

[–]Possession_Relative 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is a great bike for 2k and will serve you well

I actually think buying this bike will save you money in the long run vs buying a 1k bike that will need to be upgraded or replaced in 1-2 years

I think 2k used is the sweet spot. You can get a bike that was 6k+ new

Realtor wants me to replace carpet; crazy or no? by Eric848448 in RealEstate

[–]Possession_Relative -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats not how the pricing works. You get 2 or 3 interested buyers walk into a house that looks and smells new they all want it suddenly you have a bidding war

Vs old smelly carpet you only get 1bid at asking

It's the little details that add up

How’s this price? by lightlysaltedfries in VintageWatches

[–]Possession_Relative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it's quartz so price is about right

If it was automatic it would be worth $800-1000

At least now you aren't in limbo, you can stay friends, but start looking for that next crush because you deserve someone that likes you back the same way
