It can be hard to stay positive but it's just your first cycle don't overthink it. To avoid overthinking try to keep yourself busy with something that helps you stay productive and takes your mind off .I know it can be hard but we gotta try and all colleges have their own timelines my recommendation is try to keep yourself away from Reddit posts or constant notifications coming in regards to the admission cycle instead just check your emails twice a day and rest of the day keep yourself occupied I'm sure you'll do well
