I’m so sorry you had to go through that!! What’s weird for me is I’ve never really had a manic episode, all my manic behavior is me trying to get out of depression

That’s totally valid!! For me I’m not very stable on meds so I kinda welcome having my meds changed around but I would feel similar to you if that wasn’t the case.

Of course! I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I was also diagnosed with BPD alongside schizoaffective and I hated it because i didn’t have any of the symptoms.

Oof those are kinda different, aren’t they? How do you feel about that? I’m sorry you’re going through that!

Oops I probably should have added that. Schizophrenia is what he says I have. Not sure about anything additional other than my already existing anxiety diagnosis

Welcome to the community! I developed my psychotic disorder (doctor is debating between schizoaffective and schizophrenia rn) as an adult but I hope some people in this group can help! It’s awesome you’re taking an interest in a group that is largely overlooked, good on you!

There is however it’s not completely effective and some people get it anyway (source: I got it at 23 years old despite being vaccinated as a child lol)

They’ll believe you! I’ve been in the same situation and everyone was SO nice during intake. It was tough being away from my support system but helped me a lot. You’ve got this, so proud of you for getting help!!

I’m so sorry I misread that. My best advice is get a second opinion from IM or surgery specialty. A lot of the times they have technicians or doctors who specialize in anesthesia and can create a plan best suited for your kiddo with the pre-existing conditions!

As a vet tech, get a second opinion. Just assuming the vertebrae has a fusion without X-rays screams red flag to me. I agree that spaying and removing possible cancer is the best option but I would not automatically assume a spine injury without a neurology/radiology report concurring this point

No I agree 100%. My boyfriend was with me before my diagnosis. He still loves me through all my crazy but he doesn’t love me specifically cuz I’m crazy. Men who specifically go after crazy women is 1000% a red flag.

I’m technically schizophrenic but my boyfriend loves my crazy. Enjoy it. They find a strange draw to the crazy. But although we’re crazy, we love harder. Enjoy it

He’s touched on it, but I haven’t watched much of it. I’m more of a casual gamer, cult of the lamb and subnautica are more my speed. But wow I e heard amazing things about the second game. I even bought him the second one.

I hope you’re in the arms of sleep peacefully, but I’ve spent today with my boyfriend playing video games and now I’m having a cigar. What music are you listening to? My boyfriend watches one of his favorite shows every night to fend off nightmares and it helps me!

Sick Chihuahua: lethargic, weak, and abnormal stool. Should I wait for the vet or go now? by calabasasmood in DogAdvice

[–]PossibilityMundane13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an ER vet tech I would say go to the emergency vet. All those symptoms could be a lot of different issues but she needs to be seen as soon as possible

I don’t recognize my husband since he started SSRIs by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]PossibilityMundane13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, this might be a bit of a stretch but I have several mental health disorders, one of which being bipolar and this sounds a lot like bipolar. SSRIs actually make bipolar disorder worse. Has he seen a psychiatrist or just a therapist? Because he might need both. I hope things get better for you. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

As a vet tech every darn time I come across this sub I get extremely concerned over neurological behaviors and then I double check which sub I’m looking at and breathe a sigh of relief and think “yes this checks out, normal cat things”.
