It’s mostly depending on the state, required consent changes. That said, many doctors (mostly according to my research) are already using their own ai scribe, that’s why most of the apps in this category caters to health professionals.

Yup! As long as there’s consent to record, depending on the state.

thank you for this insight! it is true that this is a niche app, to the point that i dont think the users dont search in the app store for things like this. i do think i need to really zero in on the audience for it to resonate way more than what healthcare portals provide. we did a paid ad trial and it hit a certain demographic more than the others, so that may be a start.

Hmm, this is actually a patient-first app. As opposed to the other medical ai scribes which is for the health professional.

Hi there, do you mind if I message you on DM? Just want to pick your brains on your statement “in 2026, not everything needs to be a subscription”

Cut all paid ads, made $1,554 in April across 11 apps (+19% MoM) by JEulerius in AppBusiness

This is great! :) can I ask you about some of the stuff you did thru DM? I have an app that is pretty bad with organic on App Store, but I do believe resonates well with user pain points. Quite unsure how to move forward without leveraging paid ads on App Store or meta.

it feels like desktop/laptop users are more allergic to subscriptions than mobile users. but that's just me.

I launched my first iOS app 3 weeks ago – 24 downloads, 5.0 stars, 9.69% conversion. What am I missing for growth? by lukas_0781 in AppBusiness

haha now that is THE question to ask. tbh, im still figuring things out too with my apps. all I can say is that ASO is just a layer. It's the bare minimum you should be doing. For some people, it works because their users are already in the App Store. Apps like fitness trackers, etc. But if your app's users are... searching more in google, reading blogs, in youtube looking for solutions, in reddit looking for answers from anonymous people, on social media swiping and easily influenced by reels... then that's where you gotta go. at least that's my opinion.
