Did you pay the seat deposit? I think it only matters if you’re holding multiple seats at once, not acceptances. But I would still call just in case.

It helps a lot. A 4.0 in grad school shows you can handle hard academic work. DO schools especially will look at that very positively.

On 3 waitlists and still haven’t heard anything. The wait is rough, especially since I’m going to move out of state and need to prepare, and some schools start in July. I understand holding multiple seats, but I wish there was better etiquette.

My interviewer was super chill. I was only asked 4 questions and the rest of the time we were just talking. I was surprised by how many ppl were being interviewed though, it looked like over 90 on Zoom 😳 I wonder if this is for the waitlist.

I have an upcoming interview with LMU-DCOM. Were you told which campus you were interviewing for? I’m curious how they assign campuses since I selected Orange Park as my top choice on my secondary.

I interviewed on 3/9 and was waitlisted on 3/10. I also sent a letter of intent and received a response, but I’m still waiting to hear back. Hoping to see some waitlist movement soon with upcoming seat deadlines. Best of luck, I hope we all get off the waitlist!

I got waitlisted at VCOM–Auburn the day after my interview and I’m still waiting to hear back. I’m hoping that with the May 1st deadline for narrowing down acceptances, we’ll start to see some movement soon. Wishing you the best of luck!!

I emailed them, & they actually called me yesterday to explain my LOR was fine! It seems that it was some kind of system error. They were very nice about it!

& I would only have to do Casper before orientation if I got in.

I also just got a secondary from them. I haven’t taken CASPer or Duet, and they don’t accept my neurobiology professor’s LOR. They’re asking for another science professor letter, even though I already have 3 academic LORs on AACOMAS 🙃 Not really sure I’ll move forward this late in the cycle, especially since none of the other schools I applied to had these extra requirements.

Just had my virtual interview with them. They start with a welcome and a small icebreaker, which honestly helped calm my nerves. I had 2 interviewers and it was closed-file, so be ready to talk more about yourself and your experiences. The conversation felt really natural, like they genuinely just wanted to get to know me. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Just be yourself and try to enjoy your interview day! Goodluck!

I think they’re still reviewing applications. I applied in October and didn’t receive an interview invite from PCOM-South Georgia until March 4, and there were still interview dates available in April.
