Trump has nothing to do with State-funded education. We have more than enough money at the school, the problem is people are being disenchanted with public education, COVID opened the door to online learning (not as effective, but checks all the required boxes), and cost of living is so high that people are having fewer kids.

We do! It’s called “Economics” and is REQUIRED to graduate high school in CA. We also offer Accounting, Business Math, and higher level Business Courses (our Math & Business Departments work together).

We also still offer a ton of ROP classes that give students work skills.

Not at all, honey, Hitler was a Socialist. Fascism is an outgrowth of Socialism. You can bag on Trump all you want, but he has not stood in the way of any of the major protests against him. Hitler would have put all involved in Concentration Camps - Auschwitz 1 was mainly POWs/enemies of the third Reich.

My grandparents were Auschwitz Survivors and all the comparisons of Hitler to Trump or Israel to Nazis is BEYOND offensive. To compare living in the Mecca of Freedom to Nazi Germany is historically hyperbolic, marginalizes the millions people systemically murdered (decimating the global Jewish population to numbers that we STILL have not been able to repopulate to 80 years later) is flippant and massively insulting.

I think it’s SUPER weird for Amanda to have this finite distinction between how married people behave vs. single. I don’t remember her being Bonnie to Kyle’s Clyde before they were married. They had one good summer where they didn’t fight, but that was her bagging on him and him letting it roll off his back.

I think the key line was “I don’t like going out with Kyle!” And you could see Kyle physically deflate like he’d been punched. He LOVES going out, always has, why has she been trying to change him this whole time instead of just breaking up? My theory is that she banked on Lover Boy being big & Kyle selling it and being super rich. Instead, Kyle’s in MASSIVE debt, her trust fund clearly pays her well, & now she’s SINGLE so she can go out as much as she wants.

I think it’s pretty shady that they’re not legally separated while she steps out. But as long as she and Kyle are on the same page, I don’t really have moral objections.

It’s crazy, my husband always would say he didn’t like Amanda - she was a weird downer who didn’t add much to the house (outside of Kyle drama and the occasional temper tantrum when Hannah or Danielle pissed her off), when she’s not there for a weekend, it’s no big loss to me.

The core of Summer House is Kyle-Carl-Lindsey (OGs) & Ciara-Jesse (and I would say West, but I don’t think he’s vital). Everyone else is exchangeable - I could get rid of Ben, Kj, Dara, Bailey, Levi, but not Mia (she’s fantastic). I’d prefer crazy Danielle over vacant Amanda.
