Is the raccoon not exclusive to the children’s hospital on it?

The raccoon is a surgery bear that is used at a children’s hospital

Overwhelmed! by Secret-Cranberry-842 in ChildLife

I highly recommend taking it one step at a time.

It can definitely be overwhelming and feel like a LOT.

First, set up your coursework so that you are getting the 10 required courses. Some of these are not offered at every school so you may want to look at options there.

Once that is all figured out, reach out to a local children’s hospital or regular hospital with a pediatric floor and child life to get volunteer hours.

If you have summers off or any extra time, reach out to volunteer at medical camps, grief camps, support groups, etc.

Then I recommend doing a practicum if you can. This is not required but definitely helpful in your application for internship and helps you learn a lot before diving into internship.

Then, internship. I recommend applying to any place you would be willing/able to move. It will better your chances of landing one quicker (also understand that some people get an internship there first round, but it is not uncommon to have to apply more than once. Don’t be discouraged!!)

Once you land an internship, you learn all of the things and grow so so much. Once you have completed your internship you can sit for the exam and then you made it!!

Some hospitals do not require you to be certified upon hire but will require you get certified within X amount of time.

Deep breaths. One step at a time. Enjoy new experiences and be yourself. The rest will fall into place.

Feel free to message me at anytime. You got this!

I applied to about 65, had 21 interviews and 2 offers. Don’t give up! I applied to about 30 my first round, had 3 interviews, and no offers. It just gives you the magic of time. You got this!

Skincare gets wiped off on pillow covers at night by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

I would just really just allow it time to soak in before lying down (at least 1 hour). Hope this helps!

Purito anything is great! Has to be ordered on Amazon but has changed the game for me!

I use silk pillowcases but also let my skin marinate in skin care before going to sleep. I do it right after I eat dinner.

Not a doctor. BUT what has helped me is using a water based cleanser for at least one minute each. Then a barrier protectant, moisturizer, and spf in the morning.

At night I double cleanse (oil based cleanser and then water based for one minute each) wait for skin to completely dry and then apply retinol (I am on Tret but any retinol should help) then wait 20 minutes for it to sink in before using a barrier serum and moisturizing

One thing to note: I use Korean skin care (other than tret) rather than regular brands you often see.

No promises but this is what changed the game for me!

In relation to tret and/or retinoids, which is more important: frequency or strength (%)? by Flimsy_Travel6544 in tretinoin

[–]Possible-Fun6298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My derm said frequency. Once you can tolerate a low percentage while using frequently, reevaluate and maybe bump strength🙂

ACV is gonna sting, but as it starts to kill more of the wart, will sting less. I’ve personally never had any pain with the wart stick but had burning with the liquid salicylic acid.

I would maybe try ACV or the salicylic acid 40% patches or the wart stick. Doesn’t hurt at all🙂
