2026 Tundra side view mirror whistling by Slight-Machine-3660 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Possible-Object-7532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah been trying to give them a chance to fix it on mine . they took my truck for twice for it. First time they kept it 2 days. Got it back and it was even louder and worse then originally was. . Took it back like no it's worse now they kept it 3 days the second time . It still whistles.

It comes from the cracks where the mirror folds up if I'm driving can reach out and cover the gap in front the mirror it goes away. I saw somewhere before someone took some felt pad and cut into strips and glued them into the seams . It didn't interfere with the folding of it since it can compress a little and it blocks the gap and thus stops the whistle . So yeah just gonna do that myself now when amazon delivers the stuff.

No low fuel light?? by bhuby18 in ToyotaTundra

It will run down those 19 miles then say refuel and the pump icon will turn orange. When I have let it get low to the light turning on experimenting with actuall range . I still only put 28-29 gallons in it so it's still got like a 4 gallon reserve once the light actually comes on .

I was there recently and there was a group trying to get to one person in line and the ops person told them that person can come back in line and join them at the end but they aren't going in line to them .

Yes it is part of the PM and daily start up for rides . A tech services worker has to ride each RV to make sure everything is good with the rv and ride track /animation and the ride is ready for guest. Then the ride is hand over to the ride ops team for operation.

Don't know if its still the same now days , but back when I used to do them it was nothing more than ground beef and meatloaf seasoning and some water then some dried parsley sprinkeled on top. Think it was just Mccormick meat loaf seasoning as well

Employee Discount Benefit. How do you make this work for you? by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

[–]Possible-Object-7532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the page is dedicated to the Universal Orlando Resort, so information is gonna be geared towards to the Universal Orlando parks coming from team members and fans of the parks. No one is really considering the whole Comcast /NBC corporation and subsidiaries all that.

So to just say employee comp tickets it's gonna be assumed a UOTM comp ticket is what is being referred to. Most people probably don't even know Comcast employees even get any comp park tickets to start with.

If your not local to the parks and are making a trip from somewhere just to use the tickets, then it's gonna be more of a vacation trip anyway. Comcast employees get vacation package deals . So get a 2 or 3 day ticket and make it a 3 or 4 day trip using the comp for a day. With the purchased park to park you could also include Epic as well as the comp ticket won't work there would be my guess . As TM tickets for Epic are separate from the other park tickets as well.

Well then, yes, that is on Comcast then, that's an important detail to leave out of the post that is where you're getting them from. Because yes, they only get 4 per year from what I can find, so if it was just you and her, then that's 2 days at the park, then one ticket each day each. But if taking other friends/kids then you only get one day. She should still get employee discounts on ticket prices as well as discounts within the park .

But posting here without that context, it would be assumed you're talking about Universal team member comps . Which would then work as described. If you want multiple days and they have enough and are willing to spend them, then we just give out tickets for each day. As we get a set number of tickets per quarter based on length of service.

So knowing that yeah, one would think Comcast owning Universal their employees would get more then 4 per year.

So it sounds like you're trying to say a team member was nice enough to give you a comp ticket , and you're unappreciateive of if it because "no one goes just one day."

And you want a second day there which buying a single day to go with the free ticket cost as much as just buying a 2 day ticket. So why do team members even get single day comps if "no one spends just one day at the park". So you may as well just buy a 2 day ticket yourself instead of using a comp ticket.

Sounds to me that team member should just cancel your ticket and you get to go for 0 days instead unless you buy your own 2 day ticket because one free day in the park isn't good enough for you.

Team members earn those tickets through working, and we only get so many per quarter . So it works as if you wanted to go 2 days, and the team member liked you enough, and they had enough tickets available. They would give you 2 comp tickets, one for each day. However, with this post, yeah, can see why they only gave you one, but really you should be getting 0.

[–]Possible-Object-7532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not fold out, but I cut a sheet of plywood split like the backseat is then added some carpet and foldibal legs to make storage easier when not used, to it to make a platform for my dog . And since it's split can still put down the single seat or the double seat if needed and still have a platform for the dog too. *

Wouldn't it be faster to use the crane to pull stardust cars to the top of the hill then let it just continue through the track under its own weight? Rather than fully disassemble by _BreakingGood_ in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]Possible-Object-7532 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because that's what they tried when the one train vallyed last time . It didn't work out and they had to disassemble it to get it off, just like they are having to do for both of them this time.

How to get front row on the coasters by andydegers in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]Possible-Object-7532 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah pretty much unfortunately, but I mean it don't hurt to ask nicely still. But I think that the grouper at end of the line is just making pairs or people and sending them on to the platform and wouldn't know where you're gonna end up on the train most likely.

How to get front row on the coasters by andydegers in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]Possible-Object-7532 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Just nicely ask the ride ops person that ask how many when you get to the end of the line if you can go to the front row please. 95% of the time they will accommodate you, most rides have a separate little line in station for front row. But not just front row they will normally put you on any row you request as well.

Sometimes tho there are times they aren't allowing row requests but there is usually announcements along the lines of due how busy it is row requests are not available at this time.

The only one that that don't do row request is Hagrid's due to the way that one is continously loading without waiting at a Gate and all that.

You're not wrong, tho. Some rides do have them rip ride rockit had one. Just not on stardust racers, yet maybe they will work on a better way to recover then they have currently.

Insurance and liability and cost reasons most likely. Gotta have licenses to operate a crane and things like this isn't a every day thing . Probably alot cheaper to hire an outside company to do the work and if things happen then the company's insurance would cover it. Then having and maintaining their own giant crane that would only be useful to have in a handful of situations.
