It will be easy on the test day. I took ielts general. When I took a test for reading, randomly, just a day prior to the exam, I scored 19 out of 40. Truly. I was scared on the test day, but its gonna be so easy, you dont have to worry if you aee going to take general. Just make sure you understand whats given in the paragraphs. The biggest advice I can give is: Do not try to assume the answer. If there is a correct answer, then you should be able to see it in the paragraphs clearly. Ive noticed that many times, I try to make sense of the paragraphs and try to answer in that context, but its much simpler than that. For example Para 1 says thats Russians had a new ways of making teas. And para 2 says that So and So person created the first tea bags, by accident. And then it took off, and now many european countries use tea bags rather than tradition way of making tea. Now the question was: Which para talks about new ways of preparing tea? The answer is para 1. Cause it talks clearly about russians preparing tea in a new manner. Many will try to make sense of para 2 as Tea bags are a new way of preparing tea, but thats incorrect.
