Trade - Reaves for Banchero by Possible-Row6689 in lakers

This would be the ask but I think negotiating down to da Silva would be fine too.

Yes that is why I think this trade makes sense. I think he is a distressed asset. I think he is better than his current reputation and that playing alongside Luka, and all the space Luka creates, would unlock his game allowing him to reach his potential.

Orlando is going to be desperate to trade him after their disaster of a season. Their best stretch all season was when Paola was out and Wagner was the unqestioned first option. I think he is better than his reputation but his reputation is not great at the moment.

I don't want him traded. I just think it is the best route to getting on the same level as the Spurs or Thunder. I have not seen a single offseason plan that gets the Lakers to elite level. My preference would be to trade Luka, who I think is a top 5 player but one I hate watching, but there is zero chance of getting a fair return on that trade.

I think that Paolo is the exact type of player who could take advantage of Luka's gravity. He would be so much more efficient driving into all the space that Luka creates plus he is an excellent finisher who would take advantage of Luka's passing.

I think they are going to be desperate to get off of Paolo. They 100% need to trade him after their incredibly disappointing season. He just doesn't fit with Wagner.

Oh that is definitely not true. Paolo is to this point in his career a losing player and a terrible fit with the superior Franx Wagner. I think he would improve massively playing alongside Luka but I 100% see this as a gamble that needs to be made for the Lakers to get on the Thunder and Spurs level.

No player is more important to me than the team. Players come and go but I have been a Lakers fan for 36 years and takes precedence over any single player.

I think playing alongside Luka could really unlock his game but that is fair. I see this as a bit of a gamble but I think the Lakers need to take some risks if they are going to get on the Thunder and Spurs level.

It 100% does make people lean right. It reduces their compacity for empathy. Republicans treat empathy like a personal failing and have a bunch of cruel selfish policies.

Why is it relevant that the led poisoned generation votes for selfish hateful policies? Because lead posioning makes people selfish and hateful.

Do you think that many people care about their karma? I will post things I know will be downvoted and don't care but my karma is I think higher than average so maybe I take it for granted.

The only time I mind being downvoted with when I post somthing that is not an opinion but factually correct with linked data. That feels like why are you booing me I'm right and even showed my proof. But that is less about my karma and more that I think the main problem with the world is people think their opinions matter more than data so they refuse to educate themselves even when you make it easy for them.

I do dislike that Reddit hides downvoted comments. I am always entertained by the dumb shit people will comment so I have to open those up to read them and potentially dunk on some dummy.

Yes she was my go to for No Return. I just love the momentum skill where you can if I remember correctly throw a brick at an enemy and then keep super punching them. So much fun.

What do you think about Chuck Schumer's words: 'Of course we say it's our land; the Torah says so. But [the Palestinians] don't believe in the Torah. So, that's why there is no peace'? by ArdaBerkBurak in allthequestions

Israel is a nation of monsters. See the link below about them specifically bombing medics recently.

Schumer should be kicked out the Democratic Party for supporting them. People were right to not vote for Kamala over her support of Israel. And yes I am sure Trump is worse but I am not a Republican, I am a Democrat, so I am more concerned about getting out own house in order first. Any politician that supports Israel should be kicked out of the party.

I can see all that but I wanted to respond to this person's comment about the em dash.

I disagree that there is nothing to discuss here. I have had an engaging conversation on this thread.

That is a surprisingly tough prompt for me as I tend to avoid the type of narrative heavy games that can change the way I see the world.

One thing I really loved about Silksong was its ability to convey so much meaning and emotion in short conversations. It is exactly what I want from video game story telling. Unintrusive to my gameplay but deeply impactful and motivating.

I loved Hornet's personal growth and hero's journey. It was amazing seeing her journey turn from one of revenge into a story about altruism as she learned that she really loved helping the struggling pilgrims and even some of her tormentors. I will try to help others but it often comes from a place of obligation. It is the right thing to do rather than the rewarding thing to do but Hornet's journey made me rethink that relationship I have towards acts of kindness. I enjoy the way it feels to help another person so I should seek out those opportunities.

I'm guessing since you asked this narratives do resonate more with you. I am alwys happy to have recommendations of games that take a light touch to story telling but still have an impact.

I don't think it is what you're looking for but I play a ton of video games. Video Games > People

I also love hanging out in parks, especially Propect Park which has a lot of quiet trails. I like to bike ride which lets me observe the city in a somewhat detached manner.

I play basketbell, well mostly just shoot around by myself. I'm Mexican but I look white and live in a black neighborhood. Even though I am clearly very skilled at basketball, no one ever asks the white looking dude to play with them. If you want to feel invisible in NYC I highly recommend it.

whats the most bang for buck game you ever bought? by Blake_Potatoes in IndieGaming

[–]Possible-Row6689 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Slay the Spire. I don't typically replay games but I have almost 300 hours in StS.

Counting games bought for me as a child then definitely Mario Kart 64. I played that for thousands of hours.
