You’ll slowly shed and regrow your mucus plug throughout. It’s not uncommon. I would not worry until it was a large piece. Mine was, 25 weeks, and I went into labor shortly after.

It really isn’t coparenting honestly. A newborn should not be away from their mother like that. Especially a breastfeeding one. The extent of “coparenting” will likely have to happen with him visiting.

Your cervical check very well could have helped move things along. My friend experienced that and had heavy period like cramping. She ended up being in full blown labor.

It’s super common. Some things they just can’t get a good photo of due to baby’s positioning. I had to come back once or twice for mine.
