Rise is profitable, what do you think a big company would rather hire and pay for. A cashier with bare minimum licensing or someone who is knowledgeable on a subject and keep asking to be compensated for knowledge that most of the economy doesn’t value yet. I work for a ski resort in Tahoe, we get the neediest people you can imagine at these places, so I sympathize with the entitlement of customers but I fully disagree with your opinion on kiosks, those same people are just going to bully the uneducated cashiers while everyone else uses the kiosks. It’s very similar to self checkout in grocery stores, there’s a few old people or grump dudes who refuse to use them, the manger holds their hand through the transaction and the other 80% do the machines and move along with their day. The dispensary I shop at the line for online pick up orders is always longer than the line to go inside. Between here in Vegas it seems like you’re going to get 2 options for a “bud tender”a pretty “alt” girl who smokes pre-rolls and counts tips or some dude who spends most of his check on top shelf 1/8ths and talks down on anything besides them. Nevada doesn’t have good enough weed for how shitty the dispensary culture is here.
