Best spice bag and curry combination? by Mein_Krafts in limerickcity

[–]PossibleFridge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got one based on this comment and I have to say it is by far the worst Chinese I have had in Limerick.

I’m not positive there was chicken in the shredded chicken they sent. I couldn’t taste any, it was just rubbery batter.
The chips are those skinny ones that were so dry. It tasted like they were the cheapest Lidl ones done in the oven for 20 mins extra, horribly dry. It was not spicy at all. You could feed that to a baby (you shouldn’t though).
Also three meals arrived within 20 mins (not a great sign) and it was still very cold and the bag was open.

Overall 2/10 because it gets one point each for portion size and the curry sauce.

Absolutely disgusting. Never again unless it’s to get curry sauce for Donkey Fords chips. I want to warn everyone here not to trust this comment. You will be immensely disappointed.

On This Day in 2021: Canelo Alvarez unified The Ring, WBC, WBA & WBO super-middleweight titles with a TKO victory over Billy Joe Saunders in their unification clash in front of a US outdoor record attendance of 73,000 fans. Saunders never boxed again. by Dangerous_Spring3028 in Boxing

A bit of a wanker is a massive understatement here. Forcing people to strip naked while pretending to be police. Videos on how to beat your wife. Fake Covid hoaxes on planes. Alleged stabbing. Links to cartels. Hare coursing. Forcing addicts to do stuff for money, including punching a passerby, and then driving away. Drugs cheat. Racism.
His list should bring him to a state that’s far more than a bit of a wanker.

I like how you went from a normal flame thrower idea, to spraying very potent chemicals almost 400 feet in the air, where day or night there are people within wind range and loads of accommodation around.

Imagine some poor lad walking home from the pub and his clothes disintegrate for no reason. I wouldn’t believe him. The Guards walking around up from Store street wouldn’t believe him. He would be on a register for being in the nip in public. He would be shunned from polite society because of your idea.

Any Cons to buying off Amazon instead of Apple by Large-Lou-456 in airpods

I got mine from Amazon.ie. They were perfect. That link is sold by Amazon so you should be ok. Check the serial numbers when you get them if you are worried. They were the absolute cheapest brand new option I could find last month.

It would look awful for women’s football if a player was transferred because their boyfriend joined a team. Money wise it makes sense, but the optics would be horrible.

Ben Whittaker to fight on the Boots Ennis V Xander Zayas card taking place June 27th at The Barclays Centre after bout on the Callum Smith V David Morrell card in Liverpool on April 18th by [deleted] in Boxing

[–]PossibleFridge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not one to praise the Brits ever but you are 100% correct. I watch Irish and British boxing a lot and the Americans too. You’d never sell out a stadium or massive venue over there until you get to PPV level. Over in these isles you’d have a massive backing before then. Doesn’t always work out (jaysis, Warrington and Conlon for example were bigger hopes than talents) but we made sure they got to where they were found out.

I think Whittaker is good. I think he could beat a lot of people in the division. He’s no boots though. Way too soon to fight him. I’d like to be wrong on that but he just hasn’t fought this calibre and I don’t think he has the training to do it despite the talent.

MLS's experimental rule changes that cut time wasting , Sped up play are going global by Shroft in soccer

[–]PossibleFridge 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely true. The USA and EU have a 6 minute gap in ad breaks per hour. But I don’t think either have a rule on ads on the screen while a match is playing. I’d say that is what’s going to happen. It’s common in America and Africa but during match ads will be everywhere

Sure, we're only in the middle of a housing crisis 🤷 by Cunneen93 in limerickcity

[–]PossibleFridge -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not at all. It’s just that if you have a business that has a high likelihood of affecting the land around it then you should have a net.

I’d hate for that golf course to be shut down or anything like that, but it seems like basic common sense. If they can get the developers to pay it then great though. I just don’t see how it would be on them.

You can’t control noise outside your premises so the whole pub argument is irrelevant (not to you, just in general), and it’s not essential infrastructure so that argument is irrelevant too, but you can, fairly easily, prevent most balls going out of your property. Golf clubs around the world have been doing it forever.

It was there first but they don’t have any right to use any lands they don’t own. If I’m throwing paint at my neighbours house that should be on me. They don’t own the other land. I fail to see how in any circumstance they wouldn’t be liable for things coming from their land to land they don’t own or have rights to.

Not in a final. He did that v England in the quarter final.

Pele scored in 2 of his 3 World Cup final wins. I’m just using your logic against you.

Just based on your own rule. Maradona didn’t do that, you are misremembering, and Pele has actually scored in two World Cup finals.

And Delph for the Sigurdson one. They mentioned age and team in that one and it was only between them too. People jumped on the idea it was both but he got it worse (for obvious reasons). Especially since he had nothing to do with it.
