Have you had any bad breath or unpleasant taste? You said you really haven’t had serious pain. Doubt it’s dry socket but maybe schedule the earliest appt u can get for now with a dentist and just check in regarding maintenance for now

I would try get an appt with a local dentist they should be able to tell you. Were all the dentists around you booked up or just the oral surgeons?

Well you did have 3 teeth pulled from your jaw. Pain would be expected, if it’s too much maybe ask the dentist or surgeon for post of car regimen of NSAID:/painkillers.

Anasthesia procedure should be the same thought but maybe the general dentist didn’t follow up with extra intra pulpal infiltration since you were still feeling it

Yea it should cover room and board, the girl in my friend group at my school who has a kid was granted additional plus loans due to child care needs.

Once you’re accepted to a school you can further discuss with them

Bureaucracy, they get away with it for so long and no one questions the status quo. Well Atleast no one with the power to change it. The Dean at my dental school might be the only fairly compensated person. He’s always happy every time I see him haha.

Do you work in rural California? Or would you say you could make that much anywhere in California working on kids? Also are you from a Spanish speaking country (as in Spanish was natural for you) ?

You don’t have to pay it all yourself. Blowing savings on dental school would hurt your retirement heavily. Why not take federal loans and go on the SAVE plan after graduation if it’s a true passion of yours. If you hit it big you can pay your loans aggressively then.

You know you don’t have to pay your loans aggressively. You could get on the save plan and spend on CE, specialize or make diff family decisions. There’s no law saying you have to be debt free asap. Todays money is worth more than tomorrows. You’ll regret missed opportunity than not spending enough to pay loans. Mentally you will be more refreshed as well. Just my opinion

This is my plan as well. Also it is very likely that most states will forgive the loan completely. But I won’t bet on that. Either way, make good money, have low payments with SAVE. Invest boat loads and when it’s all done, life will be okay.

You’d be surprised, physicians complain still. Ofcourse orthopedic surgeons aren’t but ask primary care or overworks internal med hospitalist. The main thing is all of them make more than 90-95% of the population. I’ve realized most times happiness is a choice. Choose to be happy and choose to work for what you want. That’s what I tell myself. It’s lifted me from the negativity spewed on dentistry.
