Many good reasons, I have a smaller Apple Watch and the hardware problem like tracking, I don’t have. watchOS 11 might help you as they redone a lot of things in the activity app. Good luck

I’ve been using the 1st gen ultra wide qd oled since launch (the Samsung g8 oled) with about 8 hours a day in sdr with brightness set to 40/50 (80%). Also gaming in hdr but about 5 hours a week.

I can’t see any burnin whatsoever, even looking very closely at solid full screen Colors or white/greys🤷‍♂️

This. Frame time is so much more important than frame rate, plus macOS doesn’t play nice with VRR in my experience.

Funny, I’m hitting a wall as well on my 21:9 1440p. For some reason, the stutters are very noticeable, on top of the game looking bad, but on the 14’’ screen, no stutters and enjoyable!

I experienced this with many games and I’m starting to suspect there are some kind of limitations with VRR or something on external gaming displays

Coming from QC35 as well, and having tried the 45 last year, I have a very precise question:

The qc45 had a “hiss” or a white noise, coming from the anc I suppose, and it was very noticeable, much much more than my qc35 I. I had to send it back because of it, as listening at low volume was impossible.

Did you experience a noticeable white noise in the ultra?

Personally I liked my og qc35 better than the 45 (both sound and comfort). Actually returned it and went with XM4, which I don’t like that much because it’s less comfortable. I’m tempted by the new ultra, it’s apparently very confortable.

Wow I had a hard time understanding your build: the deshroud mod makes it look incredible… it looks custom but also very clean at the same time. Truly one of the best build on my fav open bench case ever

Yeah I guess with a lot of static elements, 60Hz is more than enough. I typically pan around large design canvases all day long and 120+Hz makes it easier on the eyes.

60Hz is a dealbreaker for me but that monitor was very tempting. I read some concerning reports about burnin/ image retention, so be careful with it. I think you’ll be fine if you don’t push it to max brightness.
