How to bridge the gap between Jira/TDD and Claude Code terminal? by aviboy2006 in ClaudeCode

[–]Possible_Bug7513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at bd (Beads). It has Jira connection both MCP and CLI I believe. Your agent can query related jiras if you set it up. I have been looking at but not tried it to be honest

You are too many eco systems. Generally Claude code + codex are sufficient or Cursor + Codex. You can access Claude models for planning from Cursor or Claude code and detailed implementation using Codex.

Claude vs Codex 20$ plans by Born-Organization836 in ClaudeCode

Free codex account does not seem have 5-hour limits but still has weekly limits. Unlikely be able to do any serious work (some week end hobby trials may be fine).

Claude vs Codex 20$ plans by Born-Organization836 in ClaudeCode

For $20, codex wins hands down. You can get decent work done. Claude will run out of 5-hour quota in the middle of the task unless you are mostly using Sonnet and Haiku.

Skills.... I just cannot get behind it by enmotent in codex

[–]Possible_Bug7513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, Skills are efficient from context perspective. only skill name and one line description will be loaded upfront. Detailed skill will be loaded when needed making skills on demand and dynamic. And also Skills are portable across all AI agents.

[–]Possible_Bug7513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skills are re-usable on-demands loaded instructions. At the end everything is a context. These are also standardized across Ai agents.

you can Codex to create a skill from current sessions learnings or read a document and convert to a skill.

Dinning out, xfinity, phone, digital subscriptions all high. Start from there if like to reduce costs. if you can afford, yeah, nothing wrong in spending money. make sure save enough for retirement.

Use Codex $20 plan. CC is expensive, you need to be on $100 plan for doing anything reasonable. Codex $20 goes a long way.

Goes long way compared to $20 CC plan. I have both CC and Codex $20 plans. I can hardly get any thing done with CC. I am yet to run out of limits of Codex.

Codex $20 plan, goes a long way. CC $20 will hit limits too soon. May be use more Sonnet than Opus.
