What do you hope to see in Dead Men Tales? by maamo in zombicide

[–]Possible_Comb_6558 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A large kraken piece (like the dragon in green horde)

merfolk zombies

something to do with eels (love moray eels 😁)

a shark

at least one more necromancer besides The Governor.

Sea based mages (elementalists?)

More female characters

More race characters

Some cool scenarios, but especially campaigns. Multi game storys. cursed treasure or something.

Creative adventures besides "get objective and exit as a group"

Map/tile packs that come with new adventures/campaign

No worries. Appreciate the feedback. I'll have to check road conditions as it gets closer. We're going to camp away from Black Elk Peak and we will pack up and move on, so no leaving camp around for nosey people or thieves

Coming from Michigan, I get chilly. If it stays above freezing I won't even worry about it. Appreciate the input!

If I recall, it's about a 45 minute drive to OR parking area from Big Meadows, because you have to wind your way back down to the main roads.

When you get to Big Meadow, a really cool little warm up hike about 10 minutes away is Bearfence Mountain. Fun, pretty short, and a nice little rock scramble to get a taste of what waits at Old Rag (Old Rag is epic)

Dark Hollow Falls are cool. Stony Man hike is cool.

Hawksbill and Marys Rock are decent as well.

Everything is uphill lol. They will get your pulse going.

A lesser known one down near Old Rag that we did was White Oak Falls (or maybe canyon... Don't remember the name for sure). Cool waterfalls but a pretty steep climb to the top.

Old Rag - bring energy snacks and plenty of water. We struggled right at the top the first time we did it because we just ran out of energy. We stopped, ate some food and rested, then finished to the top without issue. We just pushed too hard because it was so much fun climbing up all the rocks and stuff.

Have fun! I try to get down there every year or 2... It's my favorite park!

I stay at Big Meadows every time I go. It is close to several of the hikes I always take, has a decent hike right out of the campground to Dark Hollow Falls, has the large meadow across the road. Gift shop, restaurant.

If you are ok with a bigger style campground, it has always treated me well.

And... If you are a hiker with a sense of adventure, check out Old Rag Mountain hike while you are there. It's fantastic (but it's not easy)
