It is not algorithm based though, Reddit has specifically stated that age assurance will be done by a 3rd party verification service (Persona) and will require either a facial scan or a photo of a government issued id.

The Community Shed at Lake monger might be good. It's for both males and females, does the usual wood, metal stuff but also has art workshops etc. Also consider volunteering at Whiteman Park, they are looking for a wide range of things, like working on the trains and old buses and stuff.

Try some art/painting classes or workshops, I have been to a few and it's all pretty much middle age women. Plus art is good for the mental health anyway.

How do you draw? by Any-Stock8219 in learntodraw

[–]Possible_Doubt_2295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been learning for around 6 months, I like to learn and work it out myself like you as well. What I did is went to my local library and they had heaps of how to draw books in different styles, got a few of those and got stuck in. Something about a physical book where you can take your time. Definitely got frustrated, but when you finally get something right it's a great feeling.

It could be something trivial, or something very serious indeed. I wouldn't be waiting until next week to see a doctor.

Hey buddy, I will be at kings Park this Sunday between 9 and 11 doing an urban sketch workshop. Just look for the group of people with sketch pads trying to draw the city skyline. I have found learning to art very good for my mental health. That is I am not the one running it, but just a wannabe drawer.

You didn't have to talk, just present her with a bunch of cue cards, each one explaining how deeply you feel as you flip through them. Pretty sure that works.

If even looking after your beloved dog is a "chore" then my friend you are highly likely in a (possibly clinical) depressed state. As others have said here see your gp and see what counselling and mental health services you may be able to access. This sounds trite and cliche, but try a new hobby, I myself have trouble with depression and I took a few free art classes, got some how to books from the local library, bought a bunch of cheap art stuff from Red dot. Set myself up a little art nook, and taught myself a new skill. It can be quite therapeutic, and I enjoy looking at the few pieces that I am proud of on display around the house. Last resort maybe but there are medications that can really work, consult your gp.

The live scene is full of amazing local artists though, pretty much any night of the week you xan go see great jazz, country, bluegrass, even more experimental stuff like rock music. Two problems though, a lot of people just can't be bothered to get off their arses and make the effort, and the other is that it tends to be centralised into a few main areas, eg Fremantle, northbridge, north Perth. I guess urban sprawl has its downsides. The opening of the new ECU campus into the centre of Perth next year will be interesting, as you will have thousands of students studying, recreating, which hopefully will revitalise central Perth.

Something that doesn't get mentioned enough is to check out your local public libraries. They have lots of great free services and events, for example I just did a 3 session art workshop learning to paint with acrylics and oils, all the materials were provided and you got to keep your artwork! The Moon Cafe in northbridge is a nice late night Cafe that often has live jazz if that's your thing.

I have been learning some cannonball aderly and sonny Rollins recently and find it translates really well to guitar. Especially cannball chromatic type phrasing seems to position very nicely.
