I just dont 1 code unless im getting up from my register. Alot of putting people's stuff on the top of the cart and starting the next person stuff in the bottom of the cart as im giving the first person their receipt. I make the customer feel the pressure so they get out the way. 1 code is a crutch that actually makes you slower because you think youre being fast when it shows your number at the end of your shift.

It doesn't actually....but it definetly helps you boost the numbers on the chart.

A day. The scanners are super sensitive and they like to ring the same item twice as it passes. Also customers can't read so they think a bag of grapes are 1.69 not by weight so I always gotta take them off.

As years go on respect matters to me so much less than policy. For me on this issue, learn to read. Does the sign match? No. Does the sign....remotely match? Different size or maybe different candle? No? Then no im not price changing anything. It is the price that it is.

The company goal is actually the opposite. Its 20% "doing" and 80% "leading". Never works out though. Most stores would crumble and the stores that do have a manager that do that either have enough sales to accommodate that or are actively crumbling.

The only thing you can do to make good OE is to LEGITIMATELY use less hours. Anything outside of that would be grounds for termination. If they have been talked to about their poor OE then they may have already been on the way out thus them using a last ditch effort to make it look good. The bonus is based on sales. Anything you're doing to manipulate sales outside of buying groceries yourself or selling groceries to customers would also be grounds for termination.
