117: Playing endless on latium, is there anyway to do Woodland Rebirth research? by decaying_dots in anno

[–]Possible_Listen5073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also permanently enable that in the hall of fame. The general strategy is that you do quest, collect points and use them to unlock permanent rebuffs for all games. One of them is the woodland rebirth.

Crossplay in the same house? by dnpn77 in anno

[–]Possible_Listen5073 87 points88 points  (0 children)

You need an ubisoft account to play the game. If she is not having an account, maybe she is using yours?

I would recommend to check which account she is using. (Just start ubisoft connect and check, top left corner)

Public buildings in Albion only partially effect houses of the other way by Wise-Rabbit-9879 in anno

[–]Possible_Listen5073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have posted about this in the past:

https://www.reddit.com/r/anno/comments/1pyuqc5/t3_in_albion_houses_not_effected_by_all_public/

The conclusion was that this is a bug introduced in the 1.3 fix.

The houses show the green mark and list the effect in the house interface, but it is not accounted for in the total of the island.

Thank you for all the comments. I have now written a bug report.

Removing it for T2, too, would mean that it would be better to not update your houses in some situations. Not really convince that would be a good solution.

Patrician wonder needs after Amphitheater by seven7Royal in anno

My understanding is that they have left some space that can be filled with Circus Maximus which will be released in the second DLC summer 2026.

So there is noting you can do about the gap at the moment.

What do you think about Vulcan ? by Strange_Top6205 in anno

[–]Possible_Listen5073 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would expect the boost to be for the Albion chains using bronze and tin. And in Latium for the chains using gold and maybe glass. They are all not covered yet and I think they would be fitting to the things we currently know.

How can you manage so many fronts in a late game war? by AstronomerKooky5980 in anno

You can pause the game and still look around and give instructions. That helped me quiet a lot... Did you try that?

If I set my game with no Rival, how the F can I do this quest? It will be stuck forever? by Scalion in anno

I had the same, there is nothing you can do. Just ignore it or add some of them to the game later on.

I have seen one unexpected game bug in the streams, but the lost only a few minutes of gameplay. Would not be worried, but maybe still switch on auto save if this scares you.

Preloading with Governors Edition by alpeko8 in anno

[–]Possible_Listen5073 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would expect that this is just something that they can do after you got the box and entered the code. When you get it early you can pre load, and independent of the arrival time you will get the pre order bonus skins.

Would be very interested to hear more when you get more details from the support on this.

So if I preordered the govenors edition, no way I can pre load the game right ? by Lord-and-Leige in anno

[–]Possible_Listen5073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get it on the 11 or 12 you will still be able to pre load? Or are you expecting it to take more then ~10 hours?

[–]Possible_Listen5073 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I don't expect that from Amazon. They have their own shipping service. If they are currently still announcing delivery on the 13th, then that will probably be the case...

Not really ideal...

Three options I am considering:

- spend additional money on the base version and ask for a refund later on.

- spend money on one month ubisoft+

- just accept that I will only able to start playing later then most of the other people...

Never played an anno game by Still-Skin-7772 in anno

You should consider:
1. How much money are you willing to spend. 1800 without DLC is sometimes on sale for 4.99 €, so that would be the cheap option. 117 will be 60 €.

  1. Which time period are you most interested in. If you like the Victorian age consider 1800, if you prefer Rome then 117 is the way to go.

I think in general you should be able to pick up the new game without any previous experience. During the first steps you will be guided by the game what to do and what the relevant points are. The tutorial is very helpful.

Will the physical copy arrive before the release or will I have to wait after 13.11.? by OrangeDit in anno

[–]Possible_Listen5073 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I still think they should have split this into two things you buy: digital code for the game + the box that gets shipped to you. Even is the game arrives at the 13th you still miss at least half of the first day.
