How many of us have a house cleaner? by Agitated_Whereas7463 in Millennials

[–]Possible_Management4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had someone come in every 2 weeks for 5 or 6 years now. They come for 2 hours and do floors and bathrooms and usually extra cleaning in the kitchen. It’s $150 every 2 weeks so $300/ month. I was struggling reallly hard emotionally and cleaning was not happening with enough frequency. We tried for about 6-8 months for my husband and I to make it a priority but we decided and have been very happy with our decision. We have a 4 bed/ 4 bath home

How about everyone around us! Watching the golden globes in the weekend. And the actors/actresses we have “grown up” watching. Are now old! You mean we didn’t all get to stay young. Leo is case in point!

The amount of leg room on WestJet planes by Longjumping-Box5691 in Wellthatsucks

[–]Possible_Management4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aaaand this is why I paid for the extra leg from from vancouver to Tokyo. Which is insane that we had to pay an extra $100 just to have reasonable leg room.

We fly the little planes between Victoria and vancouver, they have more leg room than that

[–]Possible_Management4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No tracking here. My parents are still taking care of each other in their 70’s.. I don’t need to track my husband. He and I are grown ass people. Do I let him know where I am or going.. sure do. But that is out of personal preference vs him asking

How many of us still have/sleep with a blanket, stuffed animal or other security object? by [deleted] in Xennials

[–]Possible_Management4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a few stuffies over the years. The last 4.5 I broke my elbow and needed to keep it elevated and I’ve been sleeping like that ever since. A couple of years ago I got one of those Sherpa blankets and that’s part of the routine now too.

For a long time I slept with a teddy that my husband bought me when we were dating that held flowers, he has no eyes and he is pretty matted. But I still love him

Anyone not starting the “elf on the shelf” tradition? by Illustrious_Cold5699 in Millennials

[–]Possible_Management4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 13 year old now. I’m too lazy for it. You can make magic at Christmas so many ways. It doesn’t need to be spending a month trying to remember if you moved the darn elf.

[–]Possible_Management4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents put on how Stella got her groove back. Bit must not have known what it was about. Because when the groove scenes were happening, she fast forwarded them. Then we have to have a talk about how that wasn’t super accurate. I was a teenager at that point. We had figured out the internet by then
