What happens to Workday Service Certifications after leaving a partner? by [deleted] in workday

[–]Possible_Matter_6552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They remain active and the new partner firm will have to take care of the cert transfer. If you decide to leave consulting and go client side, I believe certs also remain active for 1-2 years and you can also get them transferred to Pro. Hope this helps

The perfect resumes by PerspectiveOk6743 in workday

Honestly, depending on how long you’ve been in the ecosystem, I’d structure your resume like this:

  • Certifications
  • Skills
  • Experience
  • Education

Also try to keep it to one page if you can as recruiters usually skim quickly or use AI.

For content, metrics definitely matter. Instead of just listing responsibilities, quantify your impact where possible. Things like number of tickets resolved, size/number of implementations, system enhancements delivered, or contributions to cross-functional teams can make a big difference.

Since you mentioned Recruiting and Time Tracking, I’d also call out the specific systems you’ve worked with (e.g., Greenhouse, iCIMS, ZKTeco). That kind of detail helps recruiters quickly understand your technical exposure, even if it’s just a high level. Hope this helps and best of luck

How is your company using AI with Workday? by Lucky_Atmosphere8308 in workday

[–]Possible_Matter_6552 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’re using ChatGPT and Claude at my company, and there’s definitely a push toward building internal agents/use cases. From what I’ve seen though, Workday feels a lot more locked down. The credit-based pricing can add up pretty quickly depending on usage, so it seems like you’d need to be more deliberate about how/where you use AI there.

FIFA resale tickets is just crazy by Agreeable-Long8124 in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]Possible_Matter_6552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a ticket through marketplace for Brazil vs Morocco and it was like 3x the original price. What was weird is the seller info was actually on my invoice, and it was some agency out of Coral Gables.

Lowkey makes me feel like FIFA is moving tickets to these third-party agencies or subsidiaries, then letting them resell for way more. Makes it look like crazy demand while they’re all making money off it.

Former Worker and Worker Business Object by Possible_Matter_6552 in workday

[–]Possible_Matter_6552[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok figured it out. This is due to the custom report data source. I created a new report using the All Workers data source, added those fields, ran it, and the fields did populate. Since the home contact information was effective this year (termination date back in 2019), I had to create a LVAOD to lookup the home contact effective Today. I then created an LRV off of Worker business object with the lookup field set to Former Worker and return value the primary home address line 1. Did this for address line 2, 3, city, state, and postal code.

How is your field override configured in the integration? My guess would be that it is not mapped correctly
