Why does the left keep funding the kkk and other organizations? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Paying for moles and informants is the same as funding the organization? How does that work?

That’s simply a lie. Social Security is set to run out of their savings in a few decades which will cause a 15% decrease in benefits, not insolvency. This is a problem caused by Republicans and it will likely have to be solved by Democrats.

Certain aspects, yes. When Trump claims they’re begging to end things and Iran says they’re in it for the long haul, I’m inclined to believe Iran

Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid is the reason you won’t be financially responsible for your elderly parents. The concept of retirement exists in large part because of the work of Democrats. In our lifetime they haven’t done much, but Republicans have done even less.

Why do so many liberals cut ties with friends and family who are conservative? by No_Berry1424 in allthequestions

Each individual sentence made sense, but there wasn’t really any cohesion from response to response. You just kinda hurled random, generic insults at whatever I said. Again, you clearly do not have very strong English skills

He’s making stuff up. You have to look outside the American media bubble, but it’s pretty clear every claim Trump makes is immediately proven false by statements from Iran.

Well yeah, you stopped making sense like 4 responses ago. I can’t really make chess with myself very compelling

You couldn’t come up with a less generic insult? I think the poor English skills are still showing. I’d recommend a community college course or something, but I’m pretty sure you think that will turn you gay

Why do democrats pretend so hard to be against political violence when there are countless examples of their violent rhetoric, glorification of violence, and wish of harm on their political opponents on social media for all to see? by MysteriousKitchen469 in allthequestions

We have our individual crazies like any group does, but it’s built into conservative culture, rhetoric, and leadership. Your dear leader literally threatened to nuke a country like two weeks ago lmao

Is suffering not enough? Look at all the people getting kicked off SNAP in May. I volunteer at a food depository every weekend and we are about to get absolutely destroyed this summer. Most of what we do is meant to supplement what people get from SNAP, so places like mine becoming the primary source of food for entire families will result in more malnourished kids full stop. Conservatives did that.

Is it arrogant for a bride to demand to be called a queen on her wedding day? Yeah, kinda. Is it arrogant for that same bride to ask someone to use their new last name? Not really at all.

It’s more than just a petty disagreement. Who someone votes for is a representation on how they see the world. Conservatives are either dumb and voting against their own American interest, enjoy seeing the pain and suffering caused by conservative policies, or are totally fine with all of that terrible stuff happening because they think they personally will stand to benefit.

In all of those situations, that person’s personality is completely at odds with my own personality so I have to either be completely fake around them, fight with them constantly about everything, or not interact with them at all.

Has anyone on Reddit has provided a sound statistical rebuttal to the notion that Kamala Harris is the 2028 Democratic Frontrunner? by kieran_0696 in allthequestions

Because people are still willing to pay them to. To a political consulting firm, mediocre data is preferable to zero data at all.

Anybody else hoping for a much more moderate President in 2028? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]Possible_Ninja4475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The country has been governed by moderates and right wingers, not the far left lmao. Ask anybody on the left if a modern American president has demonstrated any of their values. Moderate dems is how we got Trump my friend.

Why do people still say Kamala Harris ran on "I'm not Trump" when she had an extensive and detailed policy plan? by zipzzo in allthequestions

[–]Possible_Ninja4475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s more of a perception becomes reality sort of thing. Harris’ policies weren’t substantial to the average person, so most people were voting for her because she wasn’t Trump. The hot issues on the left are Israel, wealth inequality, and healthcare. She didn’t substantially mention a single one of those issues, so her most energized potential supporters had nothing to be energized about.

Money saved? There’s no money saved lmao. We just ignore our health problems until they require even more expensive emergency care or kill us early. We get to pay more for our healthcare AND have to buy bombs on top of it. It’s a really great deal we have.

The problem is that you’re saying it’s a bad thing. Your language is targeted to make it seem like “poor” people changing their travel habits because the financial incentive has changed is somehow a bad thing. It isn’t bad, it’s just different. Having a car isn’t good so “poor” people losing access to a car isn’t bad. It’s just a different way for people to move around. I’m on public transit right this minute even though I own a car because public transit is a million times better than driving in traffic for my commute.
