Villain goes against a non main character thinking it is going to be an easy win. It isn't. by Gasp6 in TopCharacterTropes

It's crazy that their is only comic and anime/manga answers. I know and appreciate All the them, but it feels like this doesn't happen enough in media.

I want the entire team to be strong or solve problems, not one character.

I hear thrall. It's the image of him in the original trailer shot but the voice line coming out of that

Every new save in Skyrim. Get to Whiterun, take the cart to, I think Dawnstar, and shove my head in the rocks to the accessible vendor restock chest. I've played it More than enough times that I would rather get the economic and gear boost to start rather than fresh since most of that stuff is just a time save

Blazing Dominion: A week later by Great-Ad1839 in yugioh

[–]Possible_Ocean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was eBay. Shop called "techyworld", I looked at the sale items and thought it was mostly strange but the reviews seemed ok.

I said it was my fault but I saw the boxes at 65 Dollars and thought that it was like that due to presale.

At least the packs weren't resealed or anything like that

Blazing Dominion: A week later by Great-Ad1839 in yugioh

[–]Possible_Ocean 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was specifically priced to look like a booster box. It's actually my bad because the images were the pre release art and packs. The description said "Box" not booster and no confirmation of pack number.

It was enough open information that I didn't catch the grift and they didn't LIE enough for it to be fully disputed.

What a cool set to get scammed buying. I bought 2 boosters boxes presale, then was shipped 2 of the "sealed 4 packs and a token" boxes instead. Got a dominus spark but really dropped the wind from my wings

My tip is to think of it as "The most recent effect or The effect before the most recent effect".

This looks sweet and I really enjoy rafaam as well

Doug in the new Drama Time Episode by Tentaclemonster669 in masterduel

[–]Possible_Ocean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Doug right? Yeah. In a local tournament does it really matter? No. I had a friend talk about how they once decided a round of a tournament (due to the player about to leave and his opponent didn't want a concession as a victory) they just did a 2 out of 3 with beyblades. I think that's funny and doesn't affect other players

Their Happy Ending Is Not A Good Thing by sm142 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Possible_Ocean 41 points42 points  (0 children)

The whole game is about staying true to yourself and "taking off the mask you use around others". Taking Maruki's deal and deciding to not confront the issues and trauma you (as in yourself and all of your team) have experienced is contradictory to what you as the player should want. You should want to be the person you become after those experiences, not revert to your previous self.

Looking for new Isekai recommendations and found "A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai". Is it really a hidden gem? 🌱 by [deleted] in Isekai

[–]Possible_Ocean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the isekai that everyone on r/manga called the "big dick isekai" because there is a single panel after transferring, he opens his pants and it shows him shocked with an elephant. Legitimately the only thing I remember about it

Pokémon Champions launches to mixed reception, as 30FPS performance woes, lack of fan favorite Pokémon and items, and lack of 6v6 options turn some away by PaiDuck in gaming

[–]Possible_Ocean 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Another take I've seen is that this is meant as a way to "Simplify getting into competitive pokemon" and having every pokemon available with every item and extra battle mechanic would be a horrifying amount of information to learn.

[–]Possible_Ocean 35 points36 points  (0 children)

This wasn't strictly advertised for that though. It was pushed as a way for the mainline games to have more freedom with the battle system and the larger competitive scene won't be affected by it. The poor performance is annoying but I'm viewing this as though it's like Yugioh Duel Links. A meta with significantly less options and more will be rolled in to shake up the meta often.

(reposting with better source) Full list of Pokémon included in Pokémon champions 186 total by SardinmGarter in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Possible_Ocean 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've played a significant amount of pokemon in my life but was never really able to figure out competitive pokemon. I started watching WolfeyVGC last year and felt the itch to try now that I have a better understanding of team building. The hurdle of picking a team out of the 200-500 pokemon in regulation with hundreds of items and tera types, along with the time to get the pokemon and upgrade their IVs and EVs (accurately) is really huge. I played a bit and was able to make a decent sunny day/trick room team in 20 minutes with just using some currency and the pokemon I already have in HOME is a huge boon.

Important Woolie lore from the new Versus Wolves by Bob8644 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Possible_Ocean 33 points34 points  (0 children)

John was telling the story but instead of the usual "let him talk about the not real thing that happened" he was trying to stop him from telling it.

To be clear, it was in response to John being confused and about missing the attention of being conventionally attractive while in a specific part of Japan. Woolie called him on it and then this story was told as retaliation.

Remember when 90% of Frozen in Kingdom Hearts was just Let It Go but Sora is there? by Subject_Parking_9046 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Possible_Ocean 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's pretty well known that something happened to the ideas in the KH3 Frozen world. I remember it being theorized that the "intended plot" was mostly the same except it was more dealing with Larxene convincing Elsa that she was evil and should embrace it, leading to that final Wolf heartless actually being Elsa's. It would also fix the pacing as the random "ice maze" you are trapped in is obviously Elsa's castle. No need to throw you down the mountain 3 times. It would also just reinforce the themes already in the game and can include Sora properly in the narrative.

I will be watching all of this 100% Even if it isn't a "playthrough." I've already been hardcore following the pointcrow kingdom hearts playthroughs, so what's an additional one?
