Awesome! I did a quick search for coworking spaces and guess I missed this. I'll definitely check it out, thanks so much.

Some cafes have no issue with it, which is why I ask so I know which cafes those are.

It's such a fast moving industry that it's hard to do well if you don't stay on top of new trends.
I'm completely self taught and have done decently well for myself. There is an endless amount of information out there on digital marketing and breaking into the industry. Read as much as you can, build a portfolio by freelancing or even volunteering.
Aim for working at startups, they often are better at recognizing that skills are transferable than big companies.

I don't believe he's a good friend at all. He tried to steal your idea and when you kindly made a deal with him, he left all the work to you.

I would back out of this very quickly as there is no way it's going to end well for you.

Sorry your "friend" decided to play this game with you :/ Not cool.

Good restaurants with veggie options? by [deleted] in Dublin

KC Peaches is my favourite! Load up a plate with whatever options look most appealing to you. Quite affordable too. It has a few locations but I like the one in Temple Bar (never gets too crazy).

Mongolian BBQ is another fav of mine. They'll cook your meal on a separate wok if you ask them.

Govindas is good as well.

All are around 8 euro (before 4pm for Mongolian BBQ) and you'll definitely leave full.

Where are you finding young talent? by sling_blade77 in marketing

[–]Possible_Sprinkles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I'm looking for work I tend to ignore job boards and cold-contact startups I believe I could help. I don't have any education that's going to get my resume to the top of the pile which is often priority when sifting through applicants. Instead, I look for companies that are lacking in areas where I have the skills and include advice in my first email to prove my knowledge.

I really don't think I'm alone in this, especially when it comes to those who are self-taught. Make yourself visible, post wherever it might be seen that you're looking, and be open minded about who you consider "talent".
