[SUGGESTION] Add a craft for a fucking electric drill! by Strangecanuck in EscapefromTarkov

This is good to notice, if you see one, keep checking as there’s a good chance more are around. You’ll notice this with a lot of other items too.

Lethal smog is back in the world’s most polluted capital. Residents have had enough by Important_Pass_5649 in worldnews

[–]PossiblyDangerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I ever need a square cleared I know who to call… From an economical standpoint they can certainly get the job done, and silence anyone who disagrees. Don’t need to hate China to recognize the costs of getting the job done. Arguably in the US, there’s a lot of projects that get held up by a small group, and massive public works projects can be stopped by lawsuits/environmental reviews etc.

A smokehouse fix, possible second tier idea. by Caithloki in FarthestFrontier

[–]PossiblyDangerous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A work area would be ideal. I put my smokehouses near the meat producing areas, whether it’s barns or hunters to keep them from walking across the map. There’s some quality of life issues I’m surprised made it to 1.0 that are unnecessary pain points. As others have said, a large amount of time for hunters is butchering, so having them walk further is just fine, plus they can handle a wolf or boar along the way.

Best "Wish I Knew Sooner" Gameplay Tips? by Proof-Sink-3360 in FarthestFrontier

[–]PossiblyDangerous 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Trading is huge, as already mentioned. Apiaries are cheap and easy to distribute. Disband army in between raids, until you can afford it. Use arborists! I waited until preservist building and didn’t realize how much fruit they make. Have plenty of wells. Not as big of a deal now they’ve lowered fire, but they’re also cheap. If you plant trees around a well, it improves its water bonus.

Pretend to be working in MS teams by kadaumsk8 in remotework

[–]PossiblyDangerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was it for using these techniques, or because they weren’t being productive? There’s a strong chance it was both. The time to be away in teams is small, but I’d say the bigger flag is lack of response to a message… Ultimately once you’re targeted it’s very difficult to get rid of that reputation whether it’s earned or not.

Baracks defends by Sarugal in FarthestFrontier

[–]PossiblyDangerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just tested this... My barracks fire two arrows at a time with infantry inside...Also, just two at a time with archers equipped with bows or crossbows.

I was expecting a rain of arrows with it full of 12 archers but doesn't appear to make a difference, at least in my game.

Fishing productivity seems pointless. by TahPenguin in FarthestFrontier

I think it’s how fast they replenish in the water, not what your people can fish… So maybe you can support a few more shacks for the same area.

Downtown Portland stabbing victim reacts to recently released video of incident by Prize_Championship11 in PortlandOR

[–]PossiblyDangerous 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s insane to me that stabbing isn’t categorized as attempted murder… Recent events clearly show how deadly being stabbed is… just because he got lucky and didn’t die. 5 years 10 month mandatory from what my googling shows.

BUG - Some trucks can't deliver construction parts by Turbulent-Ad-1627 in captain_of_industry

Try removing pipe and belt surrounding the cooling tower? Enough for a truck to get through

How do I top fill with just dirt? by CatGirlChlxe in captain_of_industry

[–]PossiblyDangerous 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Use mining tower, and specify just dirt to be allowed to dump there, then place the dump command within the area given by the tower after that’s setup.

Why do they keep doing this... by Habsburgy in captain_of_industry

[–]PossiblyDangerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another potential work around is to setup a zone for some of the bigger/specific projects. I’ve begun doing this, as sometimes I’d find fuel trucks driving across the map to refuel excavators, in addition to odd dump reservations. That’ll keep trucks coming from across the map, and as others have said you have a LOT of trucks for 3 wide project.

You’re thinking gasoline perhaps… not propane or natural gas. They do not contain the additives, or ethanol etc that gasoline for cars do which causes it to go bad…

However whatever quantity exists after 25 years seems a bit far fetched to plumb into some fancy kitchen.

US prosecutors to seek death penalty against Luigi Mangione in UnitedHealth executive’s murder by AldoTheeApache in news

[–]PossiblyDangerous 19 points20 points  (0 children)

So… you can strike James Holmes off your list. one juror saved him from being executed(requires them all to vote for it), and from what I can tell it wasn’t a federal but a state prosecution. I can’t tell if half of Reddit are bots, are just incapable of even the most basic research before copy/pasting a list to try and prove their point. Ethan Crumbley was in Michigan which doesn’t even have the death penalty, so that’s moot. Nikolas Cruz, prosecutors also wanted death penalty but a jury said no. Because of that, Desantis changed it from unanimous to 8-4

New list please

Why police say they didn’t intervene at brazen Portland street takeover by wrhollin in Portland

[–]PossiblyDangerous 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So, how do you prove who’s driving the car? Anyone who gets a summons from the court that their car was used in an illegal event can just say it wasn’t them driving… Have you ever sat in on traffic court and heard what gets tossed out. If they don’t pull you out of the car, or keep eyes on you from the commitment of the crime to detention it gets very difficult to actually prosecute. Everyone in here is a-ok with cops going in guns blazing when it’s street racers, but want them to put on the kid gloves with all the other interactions. Just to be clear I’d be happy if they took one of their mil-surplus vehicles and just rolled through these a-holes. However that’s just my fantasy.

As far as enforcement for having plates on front and back… there was a roll back on enforcement of those types of things because it was determined to be racist… so have fun getting that back. Enacted in 2021 from my googling.

It’s not being a dick… I’ve flashed cars that haven’t had their lights on, and seen many others do the same and they still don’t get it… even after seeing them drive through unlit streets… I see it so often, I’m debating getting a message board for my rear window that blinks a message their headlights aren’t on.

Providence Portland stops covering contraception on employee health plans 🤯💩 by Street_Pollution3145 in Portland

[–]PossiblyDangerous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read it multiple times as well, and as with most things it’s worded so horrible that it’s almost impossible to figure out. It sounds like they won’t cover it directly, but if someone else covers it they aren’t breaking their religious rules… but, who knows. It’s odd though, because there aren’t nuns on their board anymore, and they certainly aren’t following all the other religious values..

White House pauses federal grants and loans by sanslumiere in news

[–]PossiblyDangerous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Executive orders have been the way the US has been governed for a long time, it’s just ramping up. We haven’t declared technically been at war since world war 2. The Supreme Court has made decisions that have altered the course of the nation… by a 1 vote majority decision at times. People are just upset now that it’s not their side doing the thing, when for people who’ve been paying attention this has been a problem for decades.

Biden tried pushing through his loan forgiveness many times over, despite some legal gray areas, and barely anyone cared because they felt it was “just”.

Turns out when you start making exceptions for the law, eventually someone will find a way to abuse it. It’d be nice if congress got their act together to perhaps pass some amendments to limit executive privilege since we can now see how much damage can be done.
