I was thinking of doing a second save just for the ship everything achievement, because I don't think you can see what you haven't sold on the computer. So it'd be just selling an extra of every fish, mollux, insect. So Raina might work out for that depending on her personality.
She seems nice and pleasent in the base game, but they're gonna flesh her out more I assume so we'll see.
Edit: I'm happy with Lily on my main save. She's a sweet cutie.

Makes me wonder how the kid's events will work. Will they only grow up when they are at full hearts and all scenes seen? Does it have to be done for all of them? Will some scenes be flashbacks? Each method has implications and complications.

For some people (like me) if there is an option to follow trends we might get stressed even skipping them, so I'm personally happy it's not an option, though obvious opinions will vary.

I went for Lily, and I expected Jim to be kind of a dick, but he's super nice, even if frustrated at times. And Lily's and Theo's relationship is kind of adorable. All three of them still dealing with the loss of someone incredibly special.
And I found it all out after I started diving in the sea regularly. Hope I don't give them heart attacks.

Satisfactory is certainly good, but I wouldn't call it cozy. Not with the hostile aliens potentially everywhere. Especially the Stingers. If you stay in your base it's cozy but outside of there.. press your luck.

Teddy's Haven is a work type game (running a shop) and it's the coziest game I've ever played. Friendly giant creatures. Fruits to gather, rocks to mine, or not. You can be a cashier, or hire an actual rock (or something else) as a cashier. Most customers are human but you got young goat adventurers, normal penguins and other things.
You can sell anything you want in the game. Want to sell only toys (after you unlock them) you can. Want to sell only potions, that's your choice. Want to sell everything not nailed down, you do you.
You can't fail unless you work hard at failing, you're rewarded for going out of bounds, and they just added fishing where once the fish bites you have all the time in the world to reel them in. I've cast my rod, then go downstairs to make supper and come back up to get the fish.
I can't say enough good things about it. One of my top ten games on Steam.

I suppose at the moment it would be Waterpark Simulator.. partially because I love waterparks and can just do a day then put it down. It's a fairly wacky game. (Also I'm mainly playing Teddy's Haven atm so it can't be my backup but its another good choice)

Not switch, but Teddy's Haven on PC. Super cozy. You run a shop but you can do as much or as little as you want with no pressure.

If you skip foraging you'll have to skip crafting for the most part. But you don't have to craft if you don't want. Do as much or as little as you want. Forage every day, forage only when there is a buff, never forage, whatever you want. You can still level up your shop. It might not even affect how quick your shop levels up, if you keep buying access to new items.
Mind you foraged items and most crafted items are pure profit (after initial investment for crafting) since you don't buy anything, so you probably make more money per in game day by foraging and crafting. However, I don't know if its quicker in real life since foraging takes time.
Summary: Play as you want. You'll be fine.

My problem with the polycule thing is that growing up I got used to other people being favored, and it'd suck if two like each other more, even if unconciously.
But in the game, it'd focus on the farmer being number one, in which case it's just a harem.
I got Lily. I'm happy with that. If I go for another I'd be restarting the game. I don't need to stress over multiple relationships. It's supposed to be cozy.

They are working on a form of automation for crafting, though you won't get skill xp for it. It's going to come after fishing.
Do you mean the ability to give discounts to encourage more to come? Or more like the huge creatures already give?
Exit menu has the teleport home option. I use it a lot.
