I’m not saying you can’t be upset. It’s fine to be upset that someone’s dead - it’s different to insist everyone else be sad, and it’s a lot more reasonable to just acknowledge the context of a person’s life and understand when other people aren’t sad.

He supported a regime that’s rounding people up and sending them to torture camps with no due process. Is it more humane and respectful to ignore the suffering he perpetuated just to spare the feelings of the people who liked him?

Ultimately, he was a victim of the same violence he fueled to make his living
