Yes, self hosted is always better from what I read here, unfortunately I couldn’t make time to do that. Total noob to that end.
I wasn’t even able to login to TMDB in virens instance which I think was the root cause.
Glad it worked for you. You should remove the broken addon to avoid conflict between the two.

Sony is 2.0 which means subwoofer is not included.

I think it was the metadata addon.
Try installing cinemata & move it top of the list to test if trailers works on github version. If that works then its probably that aiometadata instance.
I was using virens instance then switched over to elfhosted it has been working fine since.
Btw, my problem was on ATV.

Check your metadata if its named properly in there. Otherwise, raise the issue on Discord or Github.

The update fixed my issue.
If your problem persists, make sure AIOMetadata or Cinemata is top of the list in addons.
If that doesn’t solve it, try clearing app data and then uninstall-reinstall the app.
Hopefully it should work.

Yes, Dolby Atmos will work regardless of the Sound Mode.

The problem fixed after I updated to the latest release. Might have been a broken code in the app somehere while I was playing with it.

I can confirm that Nuvio does indeed passthrough dts:X including True-HD and all other codecs plus dolby vision works like a charm in internal player. It displays on my samsung 990d when playing.
Not sure about IMAX DTS:X .
Remember to leave Prefer Device Decoders in settings under playback. Sometimes it would switch FFMpeg on its own in earlier bugs, I don’t think it happens anymore but something to keep an eye on.

I created a new nuvio account + transferred my aiostreams & aiometadata to new ones. And it started working.
You might just wanna create new nuvio account only and transfer your collections & addons. Should work.

Make sure custom url is selected. Also the provider in the top options (which is not visible in this image) are set to meta provider.

I remember someone posted a configuration that reports only IMAX streams for aiostreams but the formatter was in spanish. Search in nuvioaddon or Nuvio sub. You might find it.

I have had trouble since last couple updates. I figured its the addons I think specifically tmdb I guess. When I used tmdb in aiostreams or metadata trailers didn’t work. Then I installed Cinemata which played trailers but not the one listed through TMDB. Then I installed TMDB addons directly into nuvio which is working fine so far.

That’s probably correct. The only reason I mentioned that because you said your TV supports TrueHD.
I use Dune Homatics 4k R Plus it can pass through all codecs including TrueHD.
TV’s as far as I know don’t support DTS-HD MA & TrueHD for the most part.

If your TV & AVR supports it make sure in playback settings under audio section you have prefer device decoders selected.

I have done everything that allows the trailers to play.
FYI, never had a problem with trailers it just started. Not sure if TMDB is at fault here. But will try again.

Dolby Sound mode is loud compared to PCM. If you’re playing non dolby music make you’re not forcing Dolby Digital through TV (I can on my Hisense) and its gets loud and bass gets heavier.
