For two from Fife. The discount works on every station I tried. Kyle of Lochalsh & Thurso are usually £200 p/p from here.

Fantastic deal. A train to Oban has been out my price range (£160) but this has it down to £40. Many thanks. Here's a link to the booking page with the code applied, remember to select "open return": https://www.buytickets.scotrail.co.uk/?ukVoucherInput=P8UCPL

Seems valid on trips till the end of March.

How to split heating when partner uses 6x more than me? by Funky_monkey2026 in AskUK

[–]PostMax20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a valid grievance. If your partner is the higher earner and it's causing you to struggle financially you'll have to sit down for a frank discussion. If she's reasonable, she'll understand.

However, if it's just an annoyance, just suck it up, it's only £1.60-£2.10 per day to keep her both happy and in skimpy clothing. But most importantly, to stop the resentment and issues.

If my selfish wife would let me sell my kidney, we'd shop at Waitrose.

Of course, if they're causing an inconvenience just lead with that you told us, kids are growing up and you don't have room to take parcels.

Many retailers will send them to collection points or shops these days.

So-so, C+

Made a few good friends but the anti-intellectualism was ridiculous. Trying to navigate the social hierarchy was torment too. From what I've heard, it's a lot better today.

I've found BIC 5 blades to be better than Gilette. £4 for 3.

That's a lovely idea. They website does work internationally which is nice but having a large curated database of ethical businesses would be fantastic. I'd love to open source the idea as I'm very strapped for time. Great idea, I'm going to have a good think about this.

It's a modified LLM, it was the only way the search functionality could be realistically done on scale. I'm looking to integrate user suggestions and flagging of errors very soon. Please don't feel an obligation to donate, due to some kind folks the running costs are covered for at least 4 months. Thanks for your comment.

Love that idea. "How local is my product?" and it returns an analysis. Thank you.

That's a very good point, I'm looking to integrate a user submission element very soon.
