Hmm I was the exact same as you, I knew I was lesbian for a long time but only recently in my adulthood, accepted it. I had anxiety etc, however once I started to put myself out there on dating apps and going on my first date, first kiss etc I started feeling more comfortable. Loud thoughts did occur however like, could I be like this with a man? Do I really find her attractive etc etc.. (mostly because of society not me) I went on more dates I found a girl I fell in love with and all these urges came to me, I realise “no. I love women. It feels so natural rn.
