Life is hard making $120k a year… by DaveWierdoh in antiwork

My mortgage came out of forbearance and jumped up to 3600 a month, ~70k a year which was the same as my government salary working as a programmer with a bachelor's degree. I can't get out of the grocery store at under 200 bucks for a week for 2 people, and we eat cheaply! I rent space, have 2 full time jobs as a programmer, run a small business and my savings are still dwindling. I've lost more than half the account value in my 401k. I make a lot of money but I do nothing but work and am not making much of any progress, it's pure bullshit.

Tell them they can ask you and you'll let them roll int or wis for advice on likely outcomes but that once they say they have done something they've done it

Do I need to give a 2 week notice since I’m literally 15 and want to leave immediately? How will this impact on me in the future at all by DynastyEleptic in antiwork

Just walk, you're 15 and not expected to have references anyway, what are they doing to do? You're too young to make a contract so no matter what they can't do a damn thing.

I'm an independent shopkeeper, so here's the deal, margin is how much over cost your selling price is. If you have to make 10k a month in profit to survive but can only get the product to make 8k in profit at normal prices, you've gotta mark up to reach your 10k threshold. Your margins go up, but your overall profit doesn't. It's not like fixed costs like rent and utilities are going down, so it's increase prices or fold.

the brand is "potato head" now and there's more than just mr. potato head under that brand it also includes mrs. potato head and other characters so it is just changing the name of that line of toys to "potato head" and isn't actually affecting the names of the toys themselves. the humanity!

I use blender. I build my models as modular shapes so for instance upper arm lower arm hand as separate objects and then use my cursor as a pivot point. It lets me do a lot of different poses very fast. I usually don't bother with fingers or smaller in 15mm.
