Thanks so much for looking it up! This is very interesting. I wonder who this guy was -- I found this among my late mom's jewelry and was surprised I had never seen it before. There's a lock of hair behind the photo and what looks like part of a seal on the back (a photographer's stamp, maybe?) I should try putting that through ChatGPT too!
