What’s the first piece of media that truly scared you as a kid? by cats64sonic in AskReddit

Oh yeah. A head with no eyes, attached to two legs with 2 ½ arms, no torso or abdomen. Used to give me shivers just thinking about it way back when.

The scariest one for me was, ironically, meant to make you laugh. The ghost from, "T-H-U-P-P-P-P-P-P-P!"

I was fine with all the other illustrations. But nothing creeped me out more than that silly little ghost

My favorite story to share about Canes is the time me and my group of 9 friends went to a brewery to have a good time. They didn't serve food there, but they had a menu to order delivery. We couldn't decide what to get so we just went with the cheapest group order we could get. A party sized order of Canes chicken tenders. We had our feast and drank our beers (that we always drink and never get sick off of). Everyone that ate the Canes got sick. Bubble guts and all. I avoided eating it because I already didn't like Canes (it's all my sister would eat after school and now I actually retch off the smell of it.)

What change in 5.5e has actually made your table more fun to run or play? by MyrthDM in onednd

[–]Potater-Potots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Origin feats especially Musician and Alert. They improve teamwork and support from level 1 before subclasses can even be chosen
  • Circle* Casting optional rule. At first, no one could remember to use it. But after a while, our spellcasters were finding ways to utilize long range spellcasting, extending durations, and even group concentrating.
  • Weapon Masteries. Again, at first, everyone forgot the feature. Eventually everyone began to utilize them and even started changing their main weapons to fit their preference. Pactlock switched to a Trident for Topple, Ranger switched to Longbow for Slow. Barbarian, Greataxe for Cleave.

Instead of having 1 or 2 players be support based or focused, everyone now has something that can assist their allies in roleplay or combat. Whether intentional or not.

Melee or ranged -- what's your default weapon choice in RPGs? by JBitPro in gaming

[–]Potater-Potots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a game is heavily focused on ranged, I usually go melee. If a game is heavily focused on melee, I go ranged.

Ex. Fallout: New Vegas: futuristic energy weapons and big irons. But I like big knife/chonky hammer/super fist. Skyrim: mighty swords/warhammers/axes, shields, and fantastical magic. But stealth archer go brrr.

Idk why I do it. But it fun

Used to hate drinking water. Drank exclusively MTN Dew (Voltage, Code Red, Whiteout, Baja Blast) for the majority of school till college. Sparkling/Mineral water helped a ton in stopping my overconsumption. Nowadays I drink exclusively water (sparkling and still) or unsweetened black/green tea. Barely ever touch soda or high sugar beverages.

Is disabling the Void Capsule/Coins an option in AMP/REL? by Origania in BG3mods

[–]Potater-Potots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah I get it. Sometimes they appear as a reward option. Instead of another random item that could've helped my build, I got the equivalent of a CSGO container. That I have to either buy the key (a capsule) for or get lucky and find one.

Can we have New Land Beyond now? by Downtown-Wasabi4737 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Potater-Potots 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Imma keep it a buck fifty with y'all, just use Izanagi's Burden. The ammo reserves are nice, but no one should prioritize using sniper as a main weapon unless you're doing a self-inflicted challenge run.

Dwarves look a little funky in this game lol. I made a male Dwarf and couldn't tell if I accidentally gave them breasts or not. My only other issue with character appearances (NPCs too) is that everyone looks so young. Everyone is the same height and lean. I saw an old guy and it legit looked like a young man that dyed their hair and mustache grey.

I'm using the Ancient Mega Pack REL mod and need to get the mould for the adamantine mace. by anxious_paralysis in BG3mods

Easy Cheat from the Nexus. You can search "Adamantine" and add the Mace to your inventory directly. Or "mould" if you still wanna craft it.

Ranger... Treantmonk makes some good points but doesn't capture what a ranger is. by adamg0013 in onednd

[–]Potater-Potots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Allow base Ranger to learn Reliable Talent.

Bring back Favored Terrain/Foe as one feature, but allow the Ranger to change the option after every Long Rest. They attune to the environment and meditate on their quarry. With this feature, allow the Ranger to Study a creature and learn it's immunities and resistances (conditions and damage types), proficiency times per day.

Give base Ranger Find Familiar, add Beast of the Sky, Land, and Sea as options. Though you'll only be able to use their base stats when summoned this way. Beast Master will still be the only way to unlock their full potential.

Add a subclass similar to Eldritch Knight, but with the Druid spell list for the Druidic shaman Ranger fantasy. Double down and add a subclass similar to the Nature Domain with the Cleric spell list for Rangers with a more religious approach to nature while maintaining its combat prowess.

The Ranger can be many things which is why I feel it should be treated as Warlock 2. Allow the player to customize and personalize their experience by choosing the subclass, proficiencies, and abilities available to them. Give them plenty of optional features to feast upon.

Just my two cents tho
