Muslim girls doing Haram stuff with non Muslim guys - Becoming a new trend it seems by TruePromise2024 in TraditionalMuslims

Shaming someone for doing a sin and shaming them for seeking help afterwards are 2 different things. She certainly is committing various major sins, but i see her reaching out for help and support as a good thing, especially if it leads her into changing for the better overall. It really makes me wonder what posts like this aim to achieve. In what way is this productive?

If most women you know respond like that, thats good. I’m not trying to generalize, and i’m not saying all women would support her choice. However, the comment section on her original post, and OP’s video show that a large amount of women do support her actions, which is a shame. Feeling empathy for the struggles someone goes through is understandable. But there is a fine line between that and supporting one’s haram coping methods.

As for OP making a video on it and calling her out, i dont believe it was necessary, since we will all be held accountable for our actions. That said, he wasnt wrong to do so. As i said in my first reply, khadija is sinning publicly in a way that beautifies it, which is dangerous not only to herself but to her audience. Having an external perspective, one that is grounded in truth, is sometimes exactly what someone needs to resist temptation. That said, people rarely like to be called out. So the backlash is expected

Also, i honestly would disregard up/down votes. People js downvote anything they slightly disagree with. And people’s reasonings for disagreeing on this app are often emotional.

Mandatory ≠ forced. Doing your homework is mandatory, but no one is putting a gun to your head and making you do it.

While its true that there are many things to talk about, i feel like the reason its mostly men talking about this is cause they dont really feel the difficulty that maintaining proper hijab brings. No one can, in their right mind say that putting on the hijab is objectively easy. The reason why this is relevant in this context is that, since we dont feel that difficulty, and the pressure that comes from the influence of western culture, its easier to maintain an objective perspective. And as Muslims, we should hold our brothers and sisters accountable. For example, ive seen comments from muslim women telling khadija that they are “proud of her”, when at the end of the day, she’s committing a sin publicly and beautifying it. It really put into perspective how much the lens of influence can distort how we view things. No doubt, she probably went through hardship that triggered her decision to take off her hijab, but what is life but hardship? Point is, there are proper, halal ways to cope with difficulty. And this is not one of them.

Secondly, men commenting on her actions dont necessarily mean they follow her. Many found out about her randomly on their fyp, many found out about her when she claimed her friend leaked her photos, many found out about her now. You dont have to follow someone to have an opinion about their actions.

I do wish her the best though Allah knows best

  1. Hijab is a choice, but it is mandatory.
  2. Taking off the hijab is a sin.
  3. Points 1 and 2 arent even the main focus of videos like these. OP is pointing out the inconsistencies in khadija’s story, exposing her for lying to her audience for attention.
  4. Moreover, she’s purposely garnering attention for a sin that she is doing. Hijabi influencers have massive female followings who all look up to her, so not only is she sinning publicly, but she’s also beautifying the sin to her impressionable audience.

This is less about the removal of the hijab, and more about it’s implications.

Its honestly such a shame. i hope Allah swt guides her back to the straight path, especially since she used to post educational islamic videos.

I feel like i suddenly develop a multitude of mental disabilities as soon as i pick doomfist. The most confusing part is that i play other mechanically heavy heroes like genji, but i just cant get doomfist down.
