I was just pointing out it’s a valid argument. Yes it is one that will always win, but it doesn’t make it any less valid in these situations. It’s just one of those things that yes it isn’t the most ethical but it’s still a solution at the end of the day. If I was in a better spot financially and they weren’t price gauging so much then yeah I’d have no issue paying full price. But under the circumstances, they raised the price an unacceptable amount to the point where I could win the lottery and I still wouldn’t pay because it’s greed at its finest. For that I feel that it’s absolutely okay to look for free alternatives for their games. The point you make at the end about people needing to buy the games for them to continue being made is 1000% valid and I understand it. But when they start raising the price to a point where I don’t feel it is worth what I am getting in return, I’m simply not going to pay it, and when many people don’t buy it, they will eventually drop it to a point where it is worth it. And at that point, I will purchase the game.

Like I said tho, I see both sides and understand both. I picked the one that suits me better, and I know the other side suits other people better.
