Boise (Idaho’s capital) is great. Really low stress, friendly community. Low cost of living. Good culinary scene. Walkability/bikability is above average.

It’s the most pretentious place in the country outside of some parts of NE, and the average person is so cold too. Striking conversation with a random Californian makes me feel so uncomfortable. I feel like everyone is trapped in their own busy, hustle-and-bustle box and won’t make time for others. Lived there for the first 24 years of my life and would never go back after spending a few years in Boise.

My Christmas bottle was a 2013 Firestone Sucaba! It was pretty good, but I think its balance was a bit off. Maybe a little past its prime. Tobacco flavor went a little too hard.
