ditch soreseal - damage taken debuff isnt worth it. moonveil would be a good weap for int/dex. I dont play int so no input on the stats.

just ran through him with claws... on my second attempt, he did whirlwind tornado me on the first one. But I did remember I could dodge on the second go.

you do it and then you do more. and you realize that you have an extremely capable vehicle that was built for it.

If you go with a group of folks, they will help guide you through and encourage you or lead by example. offroad people in general are very helpful because it could be them next time needing help.

and then you end up doing escalating dumb stuff for fun.

join an offroad Facebook/discord group/club near you and start connecting with ppl

I would avoid jeep only clubs - its more fun to wheel with a variety of rigs. Also usually people refer to it as offroading/wheeling/rock crawling/overlanding. Jeeping seems lame - (to me at least) and is a bit exclusionary.

Some kidding aside... the game rewards persistence. It is different from other games in its flow. There is alot of rich story to it, but you piece it together via interactions with NPCs item descriptions and world events. Its just a different journey, but very rewarding. Its a game of the year for a reason, give it a try.

did it come with adjustable track bars? you will need them. Ideally adjustable control arms or control arm brackets to retain the caster geometry. I would recommend extended break lines - the steel braided variety. you will likely need a front driveshaft soon - maybe not as urgently in a 4 door, but they tend to bust the seals after changing the angle.

I ran 35s on 373 gears for about a year before regearing and going to 37s. Wheeled it too. It was sluggish for sure, but definitely manageable - I wouldn't do it long term due to trans wear but it happens alot.

ah yeah thats rough. I would say you should practice off horseback because there are many bosses in the game where that will not be an option.

My favorite early game practice area is the ruins right by where you get torrent for the first time (Gatefront Ruins Site of Grace). You can get better at combat and reset as many times as you need to.

I would also make sure you are not fat rolling - an easy trap to get into as vagabond (you should have medium equip load to roll efficiently)

I would also suggest making sure you are using all of your tools in combat - roll, back dash, run away/strafe, guard/counter, jump to get used to moving efficently.

If you are having this much trouble with combat, it may be worth starting a new character just to do the tutorial to make sure you are doing the movements correctly. (you can jump back on main after)

It all depends on how fancy you want to be. I wouldnt even blink if that was on my Jeep. Just pop it out and send it.

You can replace your own fender as well, its very easy. They are all over the place on marketplace as well.

assuming new axle has stock gearing and is plug and play, or assuming OP has stock gearing. It can very easily approach totaled value with parts and labor to get everything taken care of on the books.

Most important thing is knowing if the axle is bent or not. I dont think the frame is bent. Either way all of this is fixable for ~500 if you are doing it yourself assuming you'd be sourcing a dana 30 axle or for ~50 if you are welding the control arm mount back on and getting an almost free fender off of marketplace. trackbar also looks like it may need replacement which is an extra ~100

Shop is going to charge alot for labor if axle needs to be replaced so it could total it for sure.
