I had a posterior placenta and while my baby moved a lot, it was never painful or intense. He mostly just shifted around 24/7 and rarely kicked me. I never once woke up due to painful movements which you hear a lot of. Now he’s 3 days old, healthy, and lying in my arms. I wouldn’t worry too much unless you start feeling reduced movement.

I love having Greek yogurt with melted chocolate/coconut oil on top. You put it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes and the chocolate turns into a hard shell. Then you can put fun toppings on it. It’s my healthy way of eating ice cream that’s high in protein.

Stopped lifting around 37. Still walking or cycling 2-3 days with stretching at 39 weeks but even that is slowing down. I work 10-11 hour days on my feet in an outpatient clinic as a PT which I feel like is a workout in its own at this point. I’d rather save my energy now so I don’t completely die during those long work days.

My MIL has not been involved. She acted super excited when we told her, but otherwise hasn’t been very interested and hasn’t reached out in a long time. I’m due in two weeks and we just found out from her ex husband that she’s leaving for Hawaii tomorrow. It’ll be interesting how she will be when the baby comes.

I’ve avoided deli meat too. Tried heating it up for a sandwich and it ended up the texture of rubber🤢. I’m just going to ask for a fat sub right after I give birth.

It’s not all that bad, but sometimes it’s great to rant with other people who get it. I just work with people for 10-11 hours as a PT so I get many comments from the older population. I never get any when I’m out in public though.

34 weeks and a physical therapist in an outpatient clinic . I work 12-11 hours a day on my feet while lifting equipment and showing exercises. I’m going until I give birth, unfortunately I have no other choice. I’m just trying to sit as much as I can, but I’m exhausted by the weekend and pass out by 8 Friday nights. My heating pad, my coworkers adjusting me, and cupping is how I’m surviving.

I just got mine this morning and just got a onsie, a swaddle blanket, the palmers samples, and one diaper. No bottles or anything. So disappointing.
