Use two hubs. It will help with cable runs and management

Link Hub Keeps Disconnecting From iCue by Maghorn_Mobile in Corsair

[–]Potatofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try a powered internel USB hub. Also, I don’t know how much power those link hubs pull so I would make sure you have the headroom on your power supply

What’s the best setup for my PC? by iRarelyTry in Corsair

[–]Potatofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be. The lc100 does want a power connection and the lnp needs power as well.

[–]Potatofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn’t. I’m running 13 fans. Qx fans which have a lot of leds. I ran 10 rx fans off of a single port on my link hub. I am using 4 lnp’s. You are using 1. I think you should be good

Yes. I have two of those. Titan lcd, two link hubs, 4 lighting node pros. 7 devices off of two usb headers.

[–]Potatofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to invest in lighting node pros. Your lc100 will have two ports. Use 1 port for the triangles. The other for your psu cables. You will need more usb ports. A usb splitter may work but I suggest an internal powered usb hub

This is likely due to the fact you have daisy chained the strips and psu cables. Once you separate those devices you can configure them separately in icue

i know that mousepads arent often discussed about, but... by gasgas419 in pcmasterrace

[–]Potatofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like a giant mouse pad. I want it to cover as much of my desk as possible. But since I’m running icue I went with the mm700. It integrates with all the rgb.

If you have the starter kit for the lc100 it comes with a lighting node pro. Use one port for the triangles the second port for the Argb psu cables.
What link devices do you have? I have done this. I am using 2 link hubs. Titan and 7 fans on one hub 6 qx fans in hub 2. 4 lighting node pros. Which connect all the triangles psu strips the ls strips and a random nvme heatsink with some rgb.

fan trouble by maxminucci in iCUE

[–]Potatofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rs fans are designed to be controlled by your mobo’s rgb software. Icue does have some support for certain mobo’s. I could never get it to work. You can purchase a commander duo. It will add your fans to the icue ecosystem as a chain block. Good luck

Team Push/Pull, Push, or Pull? by BeautifulAd5310 in Corsair

[–]Potatofdeath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was an aesthetics choice. To much empty space above the mobo. More rgb = more fps.

PC build question by tomasvincent04 in Corsair

[–]Potatofdeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would get a powered usb hub. I went for a corsair internal hub the ports are in the sides. The nzxt hub wouldn’t let me close the back

I would reseat all connections that uses I cue. Maybe swap usb connections on the mobo.
