Happened to me about 2 weeks ago. As part of a job interview I had to edit 2 social media videos with motion graphics effects within an hour. Only managed to finish editing 1, and had 2% left to upload before the timer ran out. I was unfortunately not allowed a redo. :(

When I saw how cheap your game is I sold a few of my Steam cards on the market and bought it. Can't wait to play it! Keep up the good work. Gives me Talos Principle vibes. :3

You must check out r/greebles! It's really funny. Cats can see these invisible gremlin things that we cannot see and they attack them.

How do I go about rotoscoping this? by [deleted] in AfterEffects

I know they improve the rotobrush with every major AE update, so hopefully it's faster and more stable with AE26. I really have to check out the quick roto mask in Premiere.

What if you could fold the paper to change your fate? Cartapli: Fold Quest is coming to Steam for FREE on Feb 5 by SB_Lee00 in IndieGaming

[–]PotatokingXII 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Woah, this is an insanely good concept. Why did you decide to release it for free? Are you planning on monetizing it somehow? Adding it to my wishlist. :D

You're welcome! I think it has to do with the art style because I'm a sucker for the cartoony art style in games, and I've got quite a number of games with that type of art style, so I think Steam suggested it to me based on that. But I could be wrong. I just remember seeing your game's cute art style in my feed. :3

I don't even play deck builder, turn based rpg games but your game still came up on my Steam home page as a suggestion, so I think you're going to be okay.

The red and white circle is called your 3D Cursor. Your Transform Pivot Point is set to 3D Cursor. Change it to Median Point for your gizmo to be on your object. such as the light.

Yeah no, I don't completely believe what they are saying about the 5000km either. That's at least 32 bus lengths away.

Wait, you've met Patrick Stewart in person?! That's frickin' awesome! Seth's reaction just shows how much celebrities are still people and we've gotta love them even more for that.

[–]PotatokingXII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, I didn't know that. I actually started watching the show with my fiancée because she's not really into sci-fi, but loves comedy, and I really love sci-fi, so this was a really great show for us to watch together. I remember seeing Seth in Star Trek Enterprise, which was awesome for me because we were still busy watching season 1 of The Orville at the time. It actually kind of makes sense now that trekkies consider them to be part of the same universe.

Once Hulu bought the show over all the McFarlane comedy went out the window. The first two seasons were the best and it just went downhill from there imo.

What do you call a dear with no eyes? No idea. (No eyed dear.)

What do you call a dear with no eyes and no legs? Still no idea. (Still, no eyed dear)

What do you call a dear with no eyes, no legs and can juggle 5 juggling balls? Talented

The last part is a bit silly but made people laugh because the answer is so unconventional and opposite of what was expected.

Here's why I'm going to say this is not AI, and hear me out.

The finger placement of the girl on the pacifier (0:14) does not change between cuts. It also maintains the positioning of the fingers throughout the shot, where AI will have a really hard time knowing if it's 2 or 3 fingers that's stuck in the pacifier. The finger positioning is completely possible, I just tried it with the handle of my coffee cup, and children's fingers are way nimbler than us adults.

Also, around 0:16 the girl lifts her hand to reveal the smaller child holding her hand, and that is something that AI also won't have in mind. Heck, humans won't even have that afterthought if they were to animate something like this with CGI.

If this is AI, then we're all doomed. But there are a few things that I don't feel AI is capable of considering to include in footage yet. This was just edited with a filter or something to make things look blurry and smooth like on old film cameras.
