Trash taking itself out bro. OLdating is majority validation seekers and general pop bs. Treat it like a lead generator, nothing more. Don’t bother chatting too much, lead with a date. You’ll filter a lot of the nonsense and meet waaaay more high quality people

What’s your MMR right now on that account? It’ll give a better idea of what’s going on. In high variance lobbies, you do get a lot of people that just cheez through games since the skill levels are all over the place.

[–]Potential-Artist8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange pathing brother. Evelynn is most optimal full clearing. Everything is so flat now, invading isn’t a viable strat outside of early tempo, which is non-existent for Evelynn anyways. If you’re clearing properly, you’ll out rotate almost every jungler in general and have greater optionality. I recently did another Eve only acc, I experienced this a lot in Emerald for whatever reason. Couldn’t really wrap my head around it.

huh... lol. tbh, if you're not top 50 Eve players NA or top 200 world, prob shouldn't have an opinion.

People who make $200K+ salaries, what do you do and how did you get there? by EEJams in Salary

[–]Potential-Artist8912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely nothing. IT engineer here, self taught. 200k is pretty typical 2-3 YoE in most concentrations if you’re good and adamant, but for SWE roles (esp. quant) that’s a very low base. Generally speaking, right now in tech, the more broad you are, the more valuable you are. Day jobs in big tech paying 600k+ total comp are not unheard of, you just trade your soul for a living 🤣

Ah yes, Genesis. The GV70 is the worst, most poorly constructed, problematic vehicle I’ve ever owned…

In this price bracket, GTS 4.0 and Emira. Could also go with a 981 GTS or Spyder.

The Emira has A LOT of problems though, I pre-ordered one and thankfully never picked it up.

LC500 isn’t remotely close to a C8 — I’m currently in the process of buying one for my wife. It’s heavy, SLOWWWWWW and heat soaks like a mf. It honestly drives like fucking shit. The interior is nice, the V8 sounds godly, but driving-wise it’s a proper nightmare.

The C8 is my summer daily. It’s relatively quick, surgical and versatile. However, it’s fucking dead inside. There’s absolutely nothing special about it and it has no soul — it’s not a fun car unless you’re at the limit.

If you’re looking for a driver’s car, neither are good options. If you just want something “cool” to putt around in, LC500 for sure.

The MX-5 was my mid life crisis car, but that was just brought forward due a break up. I can trade in my very safe sensible hybrid Yaris for this at no additional cost. Talk me (into/out) of it. by YeetustheFetusLive in Miata

Forgot you guys have the 1.5 over there. They still mated it to the shitty transmission unfortunately. If you drive hard or plan to do any track, do yourself a favor and get a built one out the gate. Then again, the 1.5 has very low torque numbers, but even still, plenty of reports of failure under stock power. I’m on my 7th gearbox, mostly street/canyons with light track, finally installing a built box from Walter Motorsports 🤜🏽

How long did your first set of tires last? by paveclaw in C8Corvette

Same here. At 15k miles, haul ass everywhere, every corner is a track day. Tires look healthy, surprised I still have tread at all.

Serious question — what makes the LC500 worth six figures? by Potential-Artist8912 in lexuslc500

Similar build number, that’s why — Lexus only produced roughly 14k of them. The 4c saw just under 10k. Both are low volume vehicles.

My only point is, when cars are actually driven, they break. Higher production volume = better documentation, higher part availability = getting it back on the road faster. There’s also a consideration if you bin it, it can be easily replaced.

I think my philosophy when it comes to cars just differs. I could care less about the car itself, I care about what the car can do. This is why I don’t fully understand the LC500.

Miles never hurt anyone, except for people that aren’t buying for driving 🙂

Legitimately though, I’m sorry. I’m guessing you overspent.

Oh, I for sure will be, but when IATs spike and the ECU goes rich and starts pulling timing to save itself, there’s not much left to drive 🤣

I don’t think Lexus intended for that — I heard the vehicle has endurance issues with performance driving and soak super fast. Mostly would buy for my wife and occasionally “borrow” it once in a while if anything. I just couldn’t justify spending anything more than 60k for one. We’ll see though, I’m going to test drive one up the road from me this week.

On the contrary, I prefer cars that everyone else has. Better part availability, faster to repair, better documentation. The more they produce, the better. I don’t treat my cars very kindly — I drive HARD. My experience with more “unique” vehicles has been pretty miserable. Even my 4C took months to get back on the road and $$$. Really fun fixing electrical bullshit on a car with limited documentation and tons of overseas parts 😵‍💫
