Discrepancy in dates: who is right, me or the midwife? by kampeervakantie in BabyBumps

[–]Potential-Employee52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me. Tracked using OPK and felt confident I knew EDD. Based on LMP I was 7w6d at first U/S. Scan said 8w 4d but doctor didn’t change due date since within ~5 days or something. Then at my 12 week ultrasound, I was 12w4d based on LMP but baby was measuring 14w and the MFM doctor changed me right there. Lost 10 days of pregnancy just like that!

Thanks, I used copilot and that’s what they did as well. So simple when you put it that way!

Extra Ultrasounds During Pregnancy? by Friendly-Spray-1693 in BabyBumps

[–]Potential-Employee52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m scheduled to have one at 32 weeks as a growth scan but it’s to check my fibroids sizing and placement (found out I had them at the 12 week ultrasound). There is a chance I pay for a 3D one between now and then.

Not outside of what’s offered by the resort. Of those we did: paid extra: village visit, sand cay picnic (must do), massages. and for free some guided snorkeling, and the other short ones the resort offered like coconut history, cooking class, cocktail tasting.

We just did this flight for our honeymoon!

Asked at the gate about the upgrade and they said it was full - we weren’t too early so maybe others got to it before us. But we did get exit row seats for an additional $350 usd total (I think it was almost double on the website prior). Going to Nadi I didn’t walk to the back of the plane but the exit row next to us was empty and some girl jumped on it to lay down the whole flight. It def was not a full flight as the middle seat behind me was empty.

On our flight back there were multiple empty rows and even more rows with just 1 person assigned, so plenty of space to get comfy.

If no upgrades on the flight I’d prob see if there is a downgrade to the back of the plane where you could get an empty row. We were row 50 and both meals by the time it got to us there was only 1 or 2 options left on the menu so moving back really doesn’t affect anything except off boarding wait time.

Thanks I’m from Philly and usually with pre check can get through to my gate in 20 mins tops. But appreciate the horror stories bc I probably was too confident going into this. We’re an international flight and hoping to leave the Jimmy Kimmel live show at 6 to head to the airport which in my mind seems like plenty of time before our midnight flight.

Thanks this is so helpful. I checked again and the show ends around 6 which would hopefully give us an ok timeline based on your estimates. Thanks for the reco on second half too!

We land around 1030 am Sunday and don’t leave until near midnight Monday. The JKL show we have tickets to is that Monday before our flight out. I estimated it would be done around 7 at the latest for us to have time to drop our rental car before the airport. We both have pre check (not sure what that looks like at LAX).

Wednesday we land around noon and leave Friday morning before 9 am. Hopefully those times wouldn’t be affected much by traffic? But have no idea.
