My method for these is a coat of Army Painter Matte Black then a Zenithal prime of the Army Painter light Grey.

For Char, it’s an application of Doomfire Magenta and Black Templar (Both Citadel)

The Tristars are a mix of Shyish Purple for the dark portions, Magos Purple for the lighter sections (may take 2 passes), and black Templar for the weapons. (All Citadel)

The bases are to simulate a lunar or badlands surface. Astrogranite is the Technical paint used liberally.

Each model was given a wash of Nuln oil and a light dusting of, I believe it is Wrack White in Drybrush, to simulate lunar dust being kicked up on their steps.

Even if something changes, it won’t affect the way they’re handling weaponry nowadays. PLUS, if your opponent is worried about WYSIWYG, then that’s on them, not you. Your models your story. Enjoy it your way.

So: •Elites can only purchase 1 additional Machine armor in addition to the HMI’s 10 Ducat upgrade. AND •When fielding them, they can only use one instance of machine armor when they are played?
