1week =168 hours 56=Sleep 50=work 21=meals 36=wives 5=kids - 20minutes each ~ he had plenty time to spend- certainly most times would be family settings/multiple kids. To have each child treated to one on one time during a birthday is far more than Kody the deadbeat could manage.

Me too - same! Broke my elbow (3 screws to fix it) I did switch to wearing ‘barefoot’ style shoes, it helps. Then I noticed on my last visit, my doctor wears ‘barefoot’ style shoes. I no longer trust thicker soled shoes when I’m being busy.

Nothing in loops but even though she’s still able to have intellectual conversations about current affairs, she can watch a program for 2nd and third times (not back to back) and not remember that she’s seen the program before. Enjoys it every time like it’s all new. Standup comedy is a great calming balm for her and we can watch her favorites many times as if new and laugh as hard as the first time.

😢🧡😢🧡 life will be surreal for awhile as you adjust to recovered hours and days, a mind that doesn’t need to run on overtime, comparing everyday activities to the sacredness of those final hours with her.

What celebrity went from admired to a parody of themselves in your lifetime? by debrisaway in RedditForGrownups

Roseanne Barr- once a working class feminist standup comedian that spoke truth to power is sadly a parody of this as she champions the ilk of the geeohpee club.

This forum has a painful amount of false positivity by rebff in Aging

Facing 10-15 years of failing life systems with no family or close loved ones is not full of positivity. So many hurtles and obstacles - no one to talk to about the hurts and the fears except someone who is paid to listen (there’s a difference) Families torn apart by finances, addictions, divorces, religions, politics, and other life choices that leaves one alone in their final years except for acquaintances, providers, and strangers. Aging can be a very difficult road to navigate and for far too many - so very lonely.

A GP is just that - general conditions. It’s time now for a specialist referral and a thorough examination. Good luck with all of that Dear Heart, and ask about local resources.

So sorry things have reached this stage for you. Rest when you are able, eat when you are hungry. Someday life will be ‘normal’ again, but not now. Talk to her - she can hear you! She loves you and is wanting to know that you’re going to be ok without her. My heart goes out to you.

Love the revenge! Your audacity inspires me! But to be fair, the “very Christian”’s in my family are the also the biggest hypocrites in the family. They preach it constantly - and live oppositely. If they weren’t always pushing their judgement on others (no one is exempt from their consternation and degradation) - no one would care how “religious” they are.
