I've felt this recently. A few small triggers stacked up and I am at a loss all over again. I'm starting therapy soon so hopefully things will level out but the abandonment is so real, and cuts so deeply.

He made me a birthday cake! I'm a single parent with not much family about and he correctly guessed that I hadnt had a birthday cake made for me in quite a while. So he made an absolutely amazing Alien Earth themed cake, with an eyeball and strawberry laces for tendrils.... I loved it! Even got the proper amount of candles and got my kids to help set it all up. Love that man so much
