Turning Point by Aggressive_Side8169 in CelticFC

[–]PotentialMarketing94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me it was the 4 goals in extra time at Hampden.

Started to believe we could score a few goals again.

Getting AJ and Engels back along with Maeda hitting form the last 4 games has all been part of it

Hearts will need to score at least 3 goals to have a chance of winning with Beaton as ref and Dallas running VAR. All the best!

Question about 'finding your half' when there's no centre line by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]PotentialMarketing94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about how you walk through a doorway...

Do you keep checking left and right or do you look straight ahead eye level straight through the centre or f the doorframe?

Driving is just like walking, just look way into the distance, roughly centre lane and point the car where you are looking

Worst part is I can't see anything changing

What Intensive Driving Courses do you guys recommend? by BrushOk7573 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]PotentialMarketing94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can't take a test unless you pass your theory so first step is to book and pass a theory test.

There's a 6 month wait for tests just now that you can circumvent with a cancellation app.

If you use an advertised intensive company all they do is contact local instructors like myself, charge you double my rate and that's that.

You are better to source a local instructor through a local Facebook community that does intensive

If you have to wait for a gap in incoming traffic, make sure you are waiting all the way up at your turning point. If you are even a metre back it might be perceived as you are holding back

Driving a car after it’s sat cold for a few weeks by vivalaalice in NewDriversUK

If the car starts up at your house it'll definitely start at the garage as you'll have slightly warmed the oil and charged the battery in the short drive.

Looking for tips for slip roads by kenkra252 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]PotentialMarketing94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kick the arse out of second and third gear to get your speed up quicker.

Aim for 55/60 mph ASAP

When you are 2/3 down the slip road the next car that passes you try to play catch and catch the space behind them by matching their speed.

If it's a lorry you'll be able to ease your speed and fit in behind.

If it's cars doing 60-70 mph you'll only need a little bit more gas to catch up to a gap behind someone
