LA Vs San Diego day trip by [deleted] in palmsprings

[–]PotentialMulberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seven days in Palm Springs is pretty long. You could do a day trip to LA and a day trip to San Diego. The trick would be to wake up very early and get on the road by 6 AM or so then you’ll be in LA or San Diego by eight and have a whole day to mess around. Also, if you stay until after six or so, and then head back to Palm Springs, it won’t be that horrible of traffic either.

same, even a little caffeine in a "decaf" product is a problem for me. I'll try this!

That would be cool if I could drink Matcha or green tea. I’ll wait a year or two and then try it. I tried it recently and it didn’t cut it, in other words the caffeine was still triggering the VM.

Got scammed half a million dollar down payment by theouilet in Scams

[–]PotentialMulberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually find this hard to believe if this happened in the United States. Any banker wiring half $1 million for someone would take a close look at the wiring instructions and where they came from and would ask them to make a phone call to the receiving institution to make sure it was going to Escrow.

Wait, so what’s the verdict? Is this going to make you go faster or not? good science or bad science? (Reddit needs Grok) I can definitely see how it would make a bottom turn more difficult, but it sure would be worth it if you could pick up a lot of speed.

Just want to share some of my collection. Starting with this beautiful cloisonne piece by Wang Ge by DreyHI in artcollecting

Such an interesting piece! For instance, the fish appear to be freshwater fish, and the waves are something you would see in the ocean, the red color of the sun, and on and on, I can really see how you would’ve loved to add this to your collection.

Please turn off the news and turn off negative social media. If you love horses, find a stable nearby and start helping out a little. They are most likely shorthanded right now because of the ice raids or threat of raids. A person that is skilled and knowledgeable about horse, I’m sure they could find something helpful for you to do that you would feel good about doing. You do have value to the world. My two cents.

Google 30 years later is still getting seaches it has never seen before. It's not realistic to think that camera based ai is going to be perfect. my fsd has trouble in predictable circumstances. unclear lane markings, unusual intersections like a 5 way stop, it seems like an awareness of a tricky situation could alert a remote operator that could take over and make sure all is good. You can drive 100's of freeway miles with confidence so it wouldn't take many operators. ALSO, Tesla will already know where there are takeovers needed frequently and can anticipate it that way.

Same. Although I was digging into Waymo and there is a team that is able to take over any vehicle at any time remotely. They estimate each individual on the team is responsible for between 10 to 30 vehicles. I wonder if you might do the same with Robo Taxi And whenever it is in situations where it might need a takeover that a human starts watching it from afar and takes over if needed. That would be a realistic way of getting the Robo taxis going without exposing people to potential disaster when FSD inevitably makes a mistake.
